While I can not fault the functionality of these bags. I was looking for produce bags to make a small attempt to limit the affect of plastic on the planet. If I could NOT use plastic to buy my produce isn't that the smallest gesture I could make? But I must admit I was more than shocked and disappointed when I opened the cardboard box, pulled my new produce bags out which were in a paper cylinder and then and see that they were then wrapped in..........PLASTIC!!!!!!!!!!! No need for the plastic as far as I could tell. Now....I am mad at myself that I did not return them. I will still use them, but at least I can leave this review....PLEASE....why?

I LOVE these produce bags! I was getting so frustrated every time I went to the grocery store coming home with more and more plastic! Now I can get 1 onion without feeling wasteful! They are generously sized and even have pull tabs to keep the bags shut! I think they are fabulous!If you found my review helpful, please click Yes below! :)

Simply put, these bags get their job done.Pros:- draw string (no more twisting the top of my plastic bag to try and secure it)- mesh material- cute colors- sturdy feeing - no. More. Plastic.Cons:- obviously not as see thru as plastic, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons.I saw some older reviews that mentioned it came in a plastic bag but mine came in a recyclable paper box and that was it! Great improvement to reduce plastic waste.Overall. An amazing product and I’m happy (:

This is the second set of mesh bags I’ve ordered, I do really like them rather than going through so many plastic produce bags at the grocery store! I did mark down one star because it did come in a plastic bag - I feel like the target audience to this product is wanting to consume less plastic so doing away with the unnecessary plastic packaging would make it even better.

These bags are great— strong, durable, lightweight, very large, and easy to clean. Highly recommend!

I really like the concept of these bags and especially that I won't be bringing so much plastic bag film into my house that I then have to return to the store to recycle. I bought 2 sets. The cinchers work well. My one complaint is they're not that easy to see through so the clerk has to open each one to see the code on the produce unless she can tell what it is through the bag.

LOVE these bags!!! The see through mesh facilitates the clerk weighing and identifying produce without needing to open the bag. These bags are large enough to handle 6-8 apples. I initially bought them for produce, but ended up using them for multiple purposes. The soft but durable mesh is even suitable for use as a laundry bag for delicates. With that said, these are washable. The darker colored materials did bleed slightly when laundered so cold water and like colors is recommended. Great way to cut down on plastic and to give your produce some fresh air.

Love love love these bags.... my co workers every year orders from my son thanksgiving book and i wanted to present their orders in a nice bag not a plastic bags and these were perfect they cannot stop complimenting me on the presentation and it fix the boxes of cheese cake, apple pie etc just fine.... these mesh bags are an all time alround bags.... my friends can’t wait to order some bags also....I must say these bags exceed my expectation.... very strong and very well made and big enough to hold tons of stuff .
