Like others removed Glove box and pulled the broken one from the fan opening. At this point many just leave it out and do not replace the door. The trouble with that is that the outside air will come in. On hot days it will take longer to cool the cab. Some people pul the outside vent cover infront of the windshied and put tape over the outside air vent. I did not want to do that and wanted to keep the truck origiinal. So I replaced the door. In order to replace the vent there is a small motor that needs to be removed. You can see the motor behind the glove box opening. I tried to remove the two small phillips screws but my hand/arm would not fit. I then cut two vertical slots and bended the plastic to allow my arm to go in and removed the screws and thus the electric motor. The white plastic gear did not come out and did not easily pull out. I had to use a long flat screwdriver to push it out through the top vent. The new metal gear did not have the locking tabs and slid in to the new door. I then replaced the screws using a flexible shaft screw driver extension. I dropped the screws on my first attempt but then used tape as washers to keep it on the motor unit.

Luckily old nylon drive hub was still good so I reused it. New metal hub wouldn't fit the drive hub. If I couldn't have reused old hub I would have been very disappointed with this product. Does work so I am happy

Works perfectly, but not easy to install. Definitely watch videos. Don’t need to remove dashboard.

The part fit as expected and worked well.

The media could not be loaded.  There is no need to remove the front panel or the cupholder, remove the glove box and the fan under.The hardest part is to remove the old one. The part is just like the original even has the sponge padding that will get brittle over time. Well see how long this last... With the new metal pin it will be a lot easier to replace to a new one if needed. I will buy again

Very tight fit for the actuator. Almost thought it wouldn’t work it was so tight
