This small arm brace has sure saved me. I took a med that cause terrible pain from my wrist to my elbow. This was a side effect from 12 years ago. I’d toss all night, this brace kept my arm straight and then the pain would ease. It was worth every penny.

CONTEXT: Over the last 6 months both my wrists and forearms, but especially the left, were going numb/asleep during the night which would interrupt my sleep and persist into the morning. After a little online research, it seemed the most likely cause was pressure on the nerves in my wrists during sleep, and one of the treatments was a wrist brace. RESULTS: I've had them now for several weeks and, while I only wear them to bed, I've seen a major improvement. I sleep better and I don't have the alarming tingling sensations in my wrists and fingers that I was experiencing before. I have also observed the return of those symptoms when I sleep without the wrist braces, so I'm confident they are effectual. Experience and ADVICE: Wearing these takes just a little getting used to, but they are not uncomfortable or disruptive to sleep. It is best to be done handling things once wearing them as they interfere with your palm. If you overtighten them, you will quickly make your hands purple and put them asleep, so I recommend flexing your wrist up or down when putting it on, in order to slightly enlarge the circumference that the straps encircle before setting them.

After reading the reviews, I purchased this wrist brace to stabilize my sprained wrist. I hyperextended or over torqued my wrist using an electric drill to drill multiple 1inch holes in a tree stump. The spade bit would get stuck about 6-8 inches down. The drill bit immediately stopped but the drill, my hand and the attached wrist continued to rotate. After a few attempts to win this battle, I stopped because my wrist was objecting to the abuse. After a few weeks the pain and lack of strength in the wrist was not getting better. I hoped the brace would stabilize the wrist so the tissue could heal. The brace did hold the wrist in place and alleviated much of the pain associated with general daily movements. I kept the brace on for about 23 hours each day and slept with the brace on. After several weeks I ended up in physical therapy. The physical therapist made me a custom, HARD-backed brace. I think getting the FEATOL wrist brace was a step in the right direction and the hot/cold pack was useful. The physical therapist’s concern was that the FEATOL brace allowed too much movement but they are designed to accommodate multiple size wrists. I am now several months post injury and still struggling with my limp wrist. The brace did its job, but 75-year-old people just don’t bounce back like a 40 year old. However, I would still recommend the FEATOL wrist brace as it did stabilize the wrist and provided some relief.

Early this year, I was diagnosed with De Quervain's tenosynovitis in my right wrist. I bought a pair of these wrist braces (one gray and one black), and I have found they work quite well in alleviating the pain while still allowing enough freedom of movement for daily tasks. I have had these for about three months, and wear them both during the day and at night. The quality and comfort are excellent. In my opinion, the customer service of Featol is exceptional. Because I have a smaller forearm than most, the upper strap was a little loose. I contacted Featol customer service to ask if they had any suggestions. They were extremely courteous and helpful, even to the point of making a small design change to the brace and sending me replacements. The new braces could not be more perfect. I highly recommend Featol, and would buy these braces again.

Very comfortable brace since it is adjustable, it fits as tight or loose as you like.

I had surgery on my wrist a few years back. Well, I'm having issues again with it. I bought this to give my wrist more support and protect it from being banged up when I accidentally hit things, like doorways. Keeps my wrist protected and stable. When my wrist swells, the ice packs work wonders. Can I type on my keyboard with it on? Yes, but a lot slower than my normal speed. Now, my husband is having issues with his wrist and asked to borrow mine. I have yet to get mine back so I had to buy another one! lol Easy to clean too. I wash in cold water and let it sit for a few hours before rinsing, and I air dry it. Would I buy again? Yes!

I was recently diagnosed with carpal tunnel and my doctor recommended I try sleeping with a wrist brace. She gave me very strict specifications of what I needed to look for in a brace and this one fit the bill at a great price. I wasn't sure how comfortable it would be to wear while sleeping, but these are exceptional. They have a super soft liner inside, are very easy to slip into and out of, and secure while wearing. I found it so comfortable and so effective that I immediately ordered one for my other hand. They are so effective that I look forward to putting them on at the end of the day.

I think I broke a wrist bone in a fall, nothing serious or displaced but certainly painful. I rooted through old first aid supplies and found a 30 year old wrist brace, decided surely there is surely something better and more comfortable out there! And this brace has really been wonderful. Comfortable, supportive, great construction quality. I really like the pocket for the heat or ice pad.
