Works particularly well on CH kitties
My 10 y/o boy, Baxter, has cerebellar hypoplasia. It makes it harder for him to get around (he wobbles, can't jump, etc) which doesn't bother him, but it particularly makes using the littler box and cleaning himself very difficult. He also has significant food allergies we can't get under control which create hair loss, dandruff, and further hygiene issues. Things have definitely become worse over this past year after we moved. We've tried many different brushes, kitty shampoos, leave in aka no rinse kitty shampoos... and nothing ever really works. My allergies combined with his excess hair loss, dander, and accumulated house dust from lack of cleaning himself has created a situation where I can no longer even pet him and he has all but given up on even trying to clean himself. This has taken a toll on both of us and I can tell he's becoming depressed. I bought these gloves on Monday in a desperate attempt to get the hair under control and be able to pet him. Thursday afternoon they showed up and I immediately grabbed Baxter to start testing them out. This boy was in heaven!!! Soooo much hair started coming off! I was covered but it's ok because my boy was happy and I could see his coat getting cleaner and healthier with every pet. I knew I had to do a review so I grabbed my gear, set it up, and sat down to start again. He was so excited he walked over to me for more. We sat there for 20-30 minutes, him just purring away and loving it, while I was getting a ton of hair and dander off him. Things I like about the gloves: - they really do work!! soooo much hair comes off - I was able to loosen up some matted areas I had never been able to before - my cat enjoyed every second of it and the happiness lasted, he's still on cloud 9 - I noticed this was actually encouraging him to groom himself and he started to work with him to get the job done - the gloves are comfortable, stay on, and it's really easy to remove the hair - the gloves are also thick enough that if they try to nibble, bite, or a claw gets caught you don't feel it Things I don't like: - hair absolutely flies everywhere (though admittedly the company never said it wouldn't, so no false advertising and can't hold this against them) It was essential I vacuum and change after using these, but totally worth it. I had just vacuumed the day prior so this was literally all accumulated from Baxter. Wild!! He is so happy, I love to see it, and now I can safely pet my boy again. Can't recommend these enough. *ignore my other cat in the background, he was very jealous and not amused the door was shut*

Wish I bought these sooner
Update: Brat cat has decided the glove is beneath her and recoils at the thought of it touching her. This is at no fault of the product. She is a brat. Still a really fantastic grooming tool. A million stars. These work great on my old lumpy, bumpy dog who sheds like crazy but his regular brush has been getting snagged on his skin tags (gross). This is a MUCH better alternative and might even get more hair than his regular brush. I feel much better knowing I’m not hurting my old boy. They also work fantastic on my bratty cat who likes to be brushed but ONLY when I chase her around the house to 25 different locations of her choosing. These gloves get more hair all at once. Now I don’t have to chase her around all night.

Great Grooming Tool with Room for a Tiny Improvement
I’ve been using these H HANDSON gloves on my golden retriever and my cat, and they really do a fantastic job at loosening up and collecting hair during bath time or just a quick brush session. The gloves fit comfortably (I have larger hands and the large size works well) and the rubber nubs feel gentle yet effective. My only nitpick is that the nubs could be a bit smaller or more densely packed. Sometimes I’m trying to reach tricky spots, like the creases in my car seats or tighter areas on my cat’s belly, and a finer texture would pick up even more stray hairs. Otherwise, cleanup is super easy: just peel the hair off and toss it in the trash. Overall, I’d give these gloves 4 stars, since they work really well but a small tweak to the nub size would make them perfect.

Works Well
Because these feel like an all over body massage our dog really liked getting brushed with these gloves. They pulled out a LOT of hair. She was a short to mid length hair - some parts shorter / longer than others, and it worked well for all types of her coat. Not sure if the nubs are long enough for a long hair dog.

Thick, durable and good quality.
Not bad quality, thick and durable. Might even be good for a bitey cat, just not safe. If you’re bitten these will definitely ease the nip. Not recommended for sensitive cats. My cat was not a fan at all, so I returned the product. Even my female cat that’s all about being brushed wasn’t interested in these. 🤷🏼♀️ Overall, I returned it because my cats are “princesses” and did not approve.

These gloves work very well for grooming/deshedding. The dog even likes it! Good purchase.

Great gloves
Love the gloves. I looked at other, less expensive gloves and the reviews said the quality was not there and hard to get the hair off. These gloves are thick, good quality and can be washed. I have not washed them yet so I don’t know how they hold up after washing. I can rub the gloves together and most of the hair comes off. The only issue I have is my cat must have static electricity because I can’t get the hair off my hands when I remove the hair from the gloves to throw away! 😂 I have two cats, one of which does not like to be brushed. He loves the gloves. He is short haired and I can’t believe the amount of hair I am getting off of him with the gloves. I have not found a brush that works that well on my other cat, so my vet recommended a glove for brushing him (my cat😂), unfortunately he is not a fan so far. But, with that being said, he would rather I run my hands down his tail as opposed to rubbing his back. So it will probably take some time with him. And to be fair, he was a feral cat that we adopted 2 years ago who has feline aids, so I don’t know if it’s painful for him when I pet him on his back and sides or if he just doesn’t like it. He is an older cat so I don’t know what kind of a life he had before we took him in, so maybe he just doesn’t like to be petted. Anyway, the gloves are awesome, easy to put on and take off and I highly recommend! I did measure my hand and a medium was recommended. They are just a tad long in the fingers but fit great other than that.

Surprisingly wonderful for Cats! Super fast too, and better than a brush or comb!!!
I know the people who created these gloves and I know how much they love animals. So I was very excited when these gloves became available and I wanted to purchase them myself to see if they actually worked. Honestly, the gloves worked better than I could have ever imagined. So I want to share my experience, because they really are worth having and have made my life much easier. Really, you'll understand after reading my situation. I got these gloves for my kitty cats, and I was absolutely amazed at how much hair the gloves got off of them. Summer is approaching, so that excess winter fur is ready to go. I'm resently disabled, and I have a lot of trouble brushing each of my cats because it takes me a lot of time and makes my back and legs really hurt. When the gloves arrived, I put them on and brushed my first cat, and within seconds I had two gloves full of fur. I quickly used one glove to scrape off the fur from both gloves, where I then balled up the fur which made it easy to throw away. I looked down and there was a line of three other cats waiting to be groomed. Kinda looked like a litter of kittens waiting to be fed. I can only reach down for a very short while, and within a minute, I managed to groom the other three cats - even under their bellies. I suddenly realized that the gloves hadn't even been in my house for more than five minutes and four cats were already perfectly groomed and happy as little clams. I'm not kidding, in minutes the cats were fully groomed with these gloves. I went to groom the rest of my cats, and had to stop to take a breather - as I often do regardless of grooming - when I got bumped into by my biggest cat Peanut. I looked down to see that there was a trail of four cats behind me wanting to be groomed AGAIN! Oh dear I thought. My oldest cat Sophie, was purring very loud and actually smiling - I had to double take to make sure, and yep, she was smiling. Then it was time to groom my cat with the most hair - Gabby - who will bite when you brush her where her hair starts to get thick, especially on her back near her tail. Not a a bite that breaks the skin, but that sort of punch bite that leaves a bruise and after she gives you that devilish look of "I dare you to brush me again, because I will bite you harder." So I carefully started grooming her with the gloves and she started purring like crazy and turned into flat cat with her belly flat against the floor and her paws stretched out in front of her. I then lifter her up to her feet and groomed under her belly, and no biting! I couldn't believe it! The first time ever that I didn't get a warning snap! snap! like an alligator, or a punch bite with the eyes of the Tasmanian devil cat look. Incredible! Her hair was silky smooth after the being groomed by the gloves. Gabby is one of those cats that holds grudges though, so I did wonder that first night if she was actually going to change her mind later and bite me in my sleep, but thankfully no. So now, when the gloves come out of the cabinet, the cats go bonkers and will follow me until they're groomed, and won't leave me alone until the gloves are out of site. It kind of worries me. I feel like Gulliver and they're Lilliputians ready to strap me down if I don't use the gloves on them. My friend came over and tested what I was saying, and as soon as she put on the gloves she got mobbed but was able to quickly groom all of them, which made them all very happy. I'm going to get a pair of HandsOn Gloves for my mother to use on her cats, because I think these are perfect for the disabled and elderly. Just be aware that you will have a bunch of fur in the gloves, so make sure a waste basket is near by. Keep balling up the cat fur so it doesn't fly around. I'm sure you'll create your own ritual, or at least your cats will!
