I saw that this was listed as a “frequently returned item”, so had qualms about purchasing it. I have developed a trigger thumb and won’t be able to get surgery until a few weeks from now. Very painful every time I bend the thumb. This splint is exactly what I needed. No idea why it would be listed as frequently returned. Great quality, comfortable, and keeps me from bending my thumb—saving me a lot of pain while I wait for surgery. Adjusts perfectly for me, and looks like a person with either big or small hands would be able to adjust it appropriately. Great purchase at a great price!

Comfortable, really helps keep my thumb just immobile enough to avoid hurting it without being too restrictive. Three straps make it easy to fit.

I’m using this thumb brace for a sudden, painful case of trigger thumb on my left hand. After wearing this almost non-stop for about a week, here’s the good, the bad, and the ugly: Pros: 1. *Very* supportive. Although there’s only one built-in rigid splint, the section covering the thumb is long enough to completely encase my thumb and hold the joint straight. Far better than the previous Futuro brace I had been using. 2. The Velcro closure around the wrist is substantial and stays in place with no shifting. 3. The two Velcro closures around the thumb give plenty of adjustability. 4. The entire brace seems sturdy and well-made and is a great value for the price. Cons: 1. The brace is made of neoprene, which provides zero breathability. This doesn’t bother me during cold weather, but I imagine it will be unbearable during the summer. I’ll have to weigh the humid discomfort against the excellent support once it gets warm again. The ugly: 1. The GenetGo logo is prominently displayed on the wrist area in gold print on a blue background. The label was no match for a seam ripper and some tweezers 🤣 I have a moral objection to displaying a manufacturer’s branding without compensation, but am open to friendly negotiation with GenetGo! Bottom line: I’ll buy a second one of these to swap out when the original one needs to be washed.

This thumb splint works very well, is easy to put on and remove, and provides good support and protection. It's quite streamlined too, so it doesn't look messy. Highly recommend.

This brace was sturdy & actually held your tip of your thumb from bending. I didn't have a trigger thumb. I broke my thumb & this brace worked great for it. I would recommend this brace. I have big hands & it fit. The adjustments are easy to make. It didn't irritate my hand.

Thunb Splint. Sprained large knuckle on R thumb. Gives adequate support. However, the sewn in aluminum strip doesn't rest on the top of my thumb, but on the 'outside' of my thumb. (Drew lines for the insert and where I slit it to access the metal strip) Strip is on the outer side of thumb on either hand. I removed about 1/2" on one side, so it would turn and have that strip on top of my RIGHT thumb. (Practiced sewing for 3hours) Discovered my thumb had sprained 'outward', not down or up. So the metal strip location on the side would be good for that.
