Great Product
This product is a fantastic find! It's reasonably priced, making it accessible for most budgets without compromising on quality. The product is exactly as described, and its usefulness cannot be overstated. I've found it to be incredibly practical and efficient in meeting my needs. The attention to detail is impressive, and the performance is on par with more expensive alternatives. If you're looking for something reliable, well-made, and at a fair price point, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Wear a long sleeve shirt
Works well and keeps heat in where it's supposed to be. We wrapped heat pipes that are about 300-320F, temp dropped to 150F after doing a overlapping wrap. It does have a fair amount of fiberglass in it, be prepared to itch.

Effective exhaust heat wrap with stainless ties, but the wrap can be itchy during installation.
The SunplusTrade 2" x 50' Black Exhaust Heat Wrap Roll is a great product for protecting your motorcycle’s exhaust from heat. It’s easy to apply and the stainless ties included are sturdy and secure. The wrap itself does a great job of reducing heat and protecting nearby components. However, the wrap can be a bit itchy to handle, especially when installing, which is the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Once installed, it works well and looks good, so overall, it’s an excellent choice for heat protection.

Works so far
I installed this on a 2007 Subaru STI with a catless downpipe. My mission was to try to decrease under hood temps and keep the heat in the downpipe/hotside of the turbo. This is the first time I've heat wrapped anything. This product looks like the big brand name versions, but at an affordable price. Since there weren't alot of small bends, I decided to go with the 2in version. The material seemed very thick, but durable. Before installing, I watched a couple of videos on how others did it. First, soak the roll in water for 10 mins (or until the bubbles are gone). This will eliminate majority of the fiberglass getting everywhere! Wear thick latex gloves at the least, and suggest wearing long sleeves and possibly pants. I started off at the top of the downpipe, fastened the first couple of wraps with a metal zip tie, made sure there was enough clearance for the bottom bolt. Make sure to pull the wrap tight. At the end, I tucked the end of the wrap into itself, then used a zip tie. I also used 2 zip ties in the middle. I stopped just half way of the pipe, the portion that is exposed outside of the engine bay to limit the wrap being soaked incase of rain. I didn't use any coating and let it dry for a day before driving the car. The biggest pain was untangling the wrap since the wrap stayed in the water bucket while wrapping the propped up downpipe. After 1-2 days of short driving, the minimal white smoke stopped. Not worried about corrosion, this is not a daily driven vehicle, its rarely driven in rain, and the downpipe is high quality (Invidia). So far, the wrap has stayed on and no issues.

Worked great
I used this to wrap rifle suppressors, works great. Make sure you wear gloves or the fibers will get in your skin, especially down between your fingers. Painful and hard to get it out.

Things you should know before buying
I was looking up for a heat wrap to put on my exhaust system of my 94 Camry. I had to change the flex pipe and didn't want the hassle of taking to a shop and getting ripped out. So I decided to take the matter on my own hands.I bought a new flex pipe, some JB Epoxy, and needed something to cover my mess up.Searching on Amazon, got to this product. It has a really nice price and seemed a good deal. It comes with a pair of gloves to help out with manipulating the fiberglass, but it doesn't have any warnings inside the box.So I got my pipes fixed and managed to wrap it with this product. Everything seemed fine, until starting to smell an odd stink. Every time the car would heat up, it would release a harsh chemical smell and I wasn't sure from what. Since I had done a ton of repairs, I thought it was initially from burning oil, until one day my engine bay started smoking. I had to pull my car off the highway to figure out what was happening. So I found out that it was because of the heat wrap. It says that it's part of the curing process, but again they fail to alert this "minor issue" to the average consumer. It's already been almost 1 week since I installed it and it still smells. It seems like it's getting better, but I think that anytime longer than the first drive is too much. The zip ties provided with the kit are nice, but even though they are said to lock by themselves, I weary about that.
