Did the job

The plunger was great! I only give it 4 stars because you have to assemble the plunger. It's kind of gross because all the crap water gets into the space where you screw the two pieces together and it just sits there until you clean it. I think a 1 piece design would be better. But other than that it worked perfect.

Better than normal plunger

A stubborn toilet clog (which is what happens when grandchildren visit) would not budge using other methods. This item arrived overnight, and worked with the first application. The first compression expels the air, then sucks up the liquid on the draw, the second compression shot the liquid forcefully through the pipe and cleared the clog like it wasn't there. Sturdy construction and handle screws on and off for storage.

Canadian tires product seems better in terms of suction. But this seems sturdier and of a higher grade plastic which is a double edged sword as it requires way more strength to apply suction.
