I would give them a 4.9 ⭐. I bought 2, one swivels smoothly and one is stiff. But I'm VERY happy with the purchase and would recommend them and order more if needed.Assembly: The directions say it takes 2 or more people to assemble but I'm a small female and did it alone with the help of my knee. The 2 person need is for putting on the foot support ring. Just put the screws through the legs and have them ready to push into the foot support ring, then use your knee to support it. A second person would be helpful when putting the back on, but put the middle screw in first and as I said, I did it alone. The assembly is quite quick. As per the instructions, don't tighten the legs until you get the foot support ring on or you'll have to un-tighten them.I have ordered fabric protectant to spray on the fabric since I have messy grandchildren who will be using them... Oh and including me.The foot support ring is at about the perfect height. I'm only 5'1" and of course my feet don't touch the ground, but the ring is good.The stools are weighty and solidThe cushion is a bit stiff. Maybe soften as time goes by.The back sits a little lower than ideal. I'm 5'1" and it works for me. If you are taller and sit in them for long periods it might not be comfortable, but to just eat a meal they should be fine.SOMEONE REVIEWED THAT THE WOOD HAS TINY HOLES AND THEY WANTED TO SEND THEM BACK BUT THE HOLES WERE IN BOTH STOOLS THEY BOUGHT...... THE HOLES ARE PART OF THE DECORATIVE CHARACTER OF THE WOOD!!! The "holes" are resembling the holes made by wood beetle borers found in reclaimed wood. FYI

I bought these chairs in 2019, and probably for the past year or so the faux leather has been peeling away. It's disappointing that a better material was not used by the manufacturer. Finally I'm doing something about it, and sharing with you some ideas for how to re-cover the cushion. This will cover OVER the rivets.1. Take the chair apart so that you have just the seat cover. My Dear Husband did this.2. Cut a piece of fabric into a 23-24" circle.3. Now, some sewing, and here's how I did it: I serged the edges, then turned them under approximately 1/2" to make a casing, leaving an opening. Insert a cord through the casing.4. Lay the cushion onto the fabric circle, and pull the cord so that it becomes snug around the cushion. Tie the cord in a knot to hold it.5. Put the cushion back onto the bar stool and put it all back together!

Overall these stools are great. It was easy to put together but I have also put together a lot of furniture. Tip, don't tighten the screws for the legs until you have added the metal ring. The stools seem sturdy and are comfortable. I gave it 4 starts because the finish coat on the wood was not as good as I thought it should be for a piece of furniture. I've been adding several coats of a clear polyurethane to give the stool more protection, especially the seat back where it will be frequently touched and the oils from hands can rub away the surface if not protected well. We've had the stools for a short time but I feel they are well made and will hold up for years to come.

I knew I wanted these as soon as I saw them. The detail and color options are beautiful. They are very sturdy yet easy to put together. I paired them with the round Valebeck table. (The table had to be put on 3” risers because it’s too short otherwise.) It looks phenomenal. Would 100% buy again

These barstools are a dream come true. I am literally obsessed. Statement piece to my kitchen. You won’t regret this purchase.

I bought four chairs 6 months ago. I love them! I have two rowdy boys and lots of friends that come over. These chairs are durable and sturdy! Heavy too! I bought white and wash the chairs almost daily. I bought a set of covers for the cushions to help limit stains. They are great! I would buy them again!

Very sturdy and a bit heavy. Well engineered and went together easily. Don't tighten all the screws until assembled and standing up. Comfortable for a stool.
