Brilliant!
I absolutely love this book. I bought it for the reason that it took me back to when I was a boy in England and all the cars that were available then. This book is wonderfully laid out and the photos are amazing. I would recommend this book even if you are not a car fanatic.

A fantastic encyclopedia of the best (and worst) of British
This volume features over five hundred pages of cars. It is in essence a glorified catalogue of the British motor industry between 1945 and 1980, but it is so much more than that. Starting with AC and ending with Wolseley, the author's rules of engagement were to cover every single car built between those two dates. He appears to have done it! Each entry has at least one photograph (often more), a series of paragraphs describing the car, and a box of specifications. Company histories are also given. It is a mine of information. So why only four stars? My only gripe is that all photographs are in black and white, when I only dream in colour!
