I was introduced to traditional pressure cooking in the late 80's when visiting relatives in Florida. I began considering the purchase of an "Instant Pot' a couple of years ago. I finally decided to purchase the 'Instant Pot' when treatment of a medical condition took up several hours every other day. I chose the 'Instant Pot Pro Crisp with Air Fryer'. I was impressed with the 8 quart cooking vessel allowing preparation of family sized meals...but the 'Instant Pot Pro Crisp' was so much more. In fact Its like a complete kitchen in a single pot. Let's start with build quality, the Instant Pot is built to last, the parts are well machined and in my estimation over built.; and very heavy. The control layout is easy to understand, making changing from one cooking method to another seamless. One of the features which pleasantly surprised me was the markings inside the pot for liquid measurement. The print is actually silkscreened; instead of the more traditional etched marks that grace most traditional pressure cookers I've worked with. The bonus feature is the 'Air Fryer" which makes this model even more versatile. In my estimation you can't make a better investment. I'm looking forward to many delicious meals over the coming years. I would recommend the Instant Pot Pro Crisp to anyone who enjoys good food in a hurry.

I was wary of the air fryer feature, but this did really well. It has two layers, so I was able to cook 2 servings of nuggets and tater tots. Just be aware that you can't really remove the top layer easily to flip the bottom layer. This version has the pressure cook, but also slow cook and even sous vide. It is great for a dorm or small apartment. I just wish it had an all-in-one lid for storage purposes, but I can see how the two different lids are necessary. Like my previous instant pots, the quality of materials and ease of use seem quite good. I would buy again.

My Ninja finally died. Got to researching a replacement. This "Instant Pot Pro" had the highest rating, and the price was reasonable for the quart size, and the many features this product has for cooking! I was amazed how heavy this is which tells me it is well built! I am very impressed with the quality of all aspects & including the components! It cooks very well. One example was the saute' mode. The heat produced was 5x hotter than my previous Ninja which made the process very fast. The controls (different from my Ninja) but once learned very easy to use. Highly recommend, get one!

This insta pot is great, the manual is easy to use. Have used it for quick cooking and airfrying. The airfrying lid did take time to adjust to placing it on. Everything worked and we are very happy using it!

I decided to cheap out and bought one of these from the Amazon Warehouse. There are pros and cons to this which I will discuss at the bottom of this review. This is a great piece of cookware, that is capable of many cooking techniques. I am happy with my purchase and would buy it again. It is relatively easy to program but you have to remember to press the Start button. (Something I forgot to do a few times.) Saute - seems a little slow to get up to full temperature compared to stove top cooking, but it get there. The indicator is helpful to give you some idea of the current temp. Pressure - works well. Lid is easy to place. One feature that seems small, but I REALLY love is the little "lid" on the top that you can remove to open a spot to place ice. This feature is wonderful as it allows you to quickly cool the pressure cooker and eliminate the need to do a pressure release and blow steam all over your kitchen. In practice, I have found that a handful if ice will drop the pressure in under 3 minutes. Air Fry - this is a really nice feature to "finish" roasts. Pretty much a must have feature. It falls a little short in browning french fries, as you have to open the lid and shake the air fry basket to ensure even cooking. However, this is also true of most air fryers unless they have a tumble basket. Sous Vide - tried this several times with excellent results. The temperature control is not as exact as you could expect with a circulating type of Sous Vide appliance, but it gets the job done. You may have to experiment a bit to get the ideal temperature setting. Other settings? - haven't tried them yet, so no comment. Caution when Buying from Amazon Warehouse (AzW): I had to return the first unit that I bought as the front control panel was dented. It seems that the AzW workers will repackage these units in a box lined with plastic bags filled with spray foam. In theory this should provide excellent protection from dings and dents, however this Instant Pot is sensitive to crushing forces. The outer shell is essentially a thin metal band. My first unit was packed on its side. Something must have been placed on that box in shipping which crushed the faceplate. The replacement unit I ordered was boxed upright. It arrived with the outer metal band pressed down into the base by a quarter inch or so. I was able to gently pry it back into position and the unit has worked perfectly since. In any event these warehouse purchases do not have the same warranty, so factor that into your purchase decision. I was able to save about $70. Not sure if it was worth it.

This was a replacement for an IP which was damaged. I decided, even though I have another air fryer/toaster oven combo, to upgrade to this because I LOVE hot wings and they always make a huge mess in my other AF. This unit with its air fryer component keeps the mess contained and does a great job of getting the wings nice and crispy with no fat ridges on it and has really upped my wings to another level. It's not big enough to do bacon or a bunch of other things but specifically for those of us who LOVE hot wings, it is my new go to. Easy to clean too which my other AF is not.

Had to replace my all in One Ninja Pressure and Air Fryer combo unit. Like the simplicity of both Pressure and Air Fry Lids. Internal size holds 1/2 chicken and Rack of RIbs with ease. Used Pressure cooker and great sealing and quiet. Only issue is quick release is metal so need something to push it down., use wooden spoon. Appearance is nice in its metallic modern look

The Bottom Line: This has completely changed how I make my signature chicken and noodles. It handles every stage—searing the meat, pressure cooking the base, and thickening the sauce—without me ever having to touch the stovetop. The Performance Test (The Recipe): I’ve perfected my chicken and noodle recipe in this unit, and the results are more consistent than the stove ever was. Here is how I put the 11-in-1 features to work: Step 1: The Sauté. I start with the Sauté function to brown the chicken breast or thighs with a little oil and seasoning. The heat distribution is even, and I don't get the "hot spots" that cause sticking in cheaper multicookers. Step 2: The Pressure Cook. After deglazing with a bit of broth, I add the rest of my liquid and veggies. I set it to High Pressure for 10–12 minutes. The seal is solid every time, and the "steam release" handle is much safer and easier to use than older models. Step 3: The Finish. Once the chicken is shredded and back in the pot, I add the frozen Reames-style noodles. I use the Sauté mode again to simmer everything until the noodles are tender and the sauce has thickened into that perfect, creamy consistency. Key Performance Observations: Consistency: Unlike the stovetop where I have to constantly monitor the heat to avoid burning the bottom of the noodles, the Instant Pot maintains a perfectly regulated simmer. Speed: I can have "all-day" tasting chicken and noodles on the table in under 45 minutes, including the time it takes to come to pressure. Cleanup: Since I’m searing, cooking, and simmering in the same stainless steel liner, I only have one pot to throw in the dishwasher. Who is this for? If you make a lot of "one-pot" comfort meals like soups, stews, or chicken and noodles, this is a massive upgrade for your kitchen. It’s reliable, fast, and the 11-in-1 versatility is worth every inch of counter space.

Amazing kitchen appliance. Takes up quite a bit of space but I use it so much it just has a home on the counter.

Mi vida cambió desde que uso esta maravilla. Si te gusta cocinar o debes cocinar, la Instant Pot es tu mejor herramienta en la cocina, en definitiva una gran inversión. La excelente calidad de la cocción de los alimentos, el tiempo tan mínimo que requiere y todas las opciones que contiene, son para mi lo mas importante y las razones por las que vale tanto la pena tenerla en casa, me ha ayudado muchísimo.

Well, I don’t have much to say. I was scared because people were sharing burned cable, in other cases the product were arriving damaged. I realized that you have to take the risk, otherwise you will based your purchases by other people experience. With that been said.. Here everything arrived in perfect shape. Product works as it should be. Easy to use, rice cooks really fast (7 minutes in high pressure is the way I like it lol). I made this toast in the picture with egg and bacon on air fryer lid, awesome. The compartment for air fry is smaller than I thought but it works fine for us. And for the budget that we had, I think it was a good purchase. I don’t have nothing to complain about the pressure lid mode, everything turns on delicious food, for those who like cooked beans in Brazilian style it’s a must have. I’m very satisfied!
