Random House Books for Young Readers The Rana Cookbook: Recipes from the Palaces of Nepal

Rohini Rana's cookbook is very special to me because I know her! We lived next door to the Rana palace in Kathmandu where she and her family lived with her parent-in-laws. They were our landlords! Rohini is a lovely and sweet lady and she invited us for meals with the family at the palace. The meals were delicious and varied from other Nepalese cooking. I am grateful that I have Rohini's cookbook and look forward to the memories of the delicious meals I enjoyed at the Rana palace.

This a a really good cook cook, full of wonderful recipes from the royal kitchen of Nepal..

A really solid work, well researched, well put together with lovely photographs and props to die for. Also really good production values. Its a work horse of a book disguised as a slick coffee table pleaser.
