Eines Vorweg: Ich liebe Roccat! Tastatur, Maus, alles ist bei mir von Roccat, alles super Qualität. Deshalb musste das Headset von Roccat her. Zu dem Preis muss es ja Top Qualität sein...meine Enttäuschung war riesengross!Ich stelle mir immer vor, die Produktentwickler testen Ihre Konstruktion im real life, nehmen es mit nach Hause, zocken mal ein Wochenende damit und haben dann ein Brainstorming, um Fehler zu diskutieren.....wohl nur meine naive Vorstellung, wie man ein Produkt entwickeln sollte.Denn sonst hätte man sofort gemerkt, dass die Ohrenpolster zu klein sind, drücken und bei jeder Bewegung Geräusche machen. Beide Ohrmuscheln rutschen im Spielbetrieb langsam nach unten und das macht so gar keinen Spaß. Die Roccat Swarm Software hat das Headset gar nicht erkannt. Da muss man gar nicht mehr auf den Sound und die Mikrophonqualität eingehen, ein solches Gerät zu so einem Preis abzuliefern, ist ein klares K.O. Kriterium. Kein Gamer wird mit so einem Gerät zufrieden sein!

Roccat / TurtleBeach, was ist los?Seit Jahren versorge ich mich und meine Famillienmitglieder mit Roccat Hardware. So langsam wird wohl Schluss damit sein.Die Soundqualität ist nur ein okay, doch gibt es mehrere große ABER;Der Bügel ist eine reine Fehlkonstruktion. Ich weiß nicht an welchen Quadratischen Kopf das Muster gemessen wurde. Die Bügel bringen null Halt am Kopf. Und aus irgend einem Grund drücken die Bügel die Ohrmuscheln runter, al ob jemand das ganzen runter ziehen würde.Abgesehen davon stelle ich mir die Frage ob die Ohrmuscheln an Babyohren angepasst wurden. Welches Ohr soll da vernünftig rein passen?Und nun zum größten Disaster meiner Meinung: WARUM wieder eine neue Software für diverse / wichtige Einstellungen um alles voll nutzen zu können? Aus welchem Grund wurde das Gerät nicht in Roccat Swarm integriert? Für mich völlig unverständlich!Dazu kommt, das die neue Software NEO eine BETA Version ist, die überhaupt noch gar nicht richtig funktioniert.Im Allgemeinen macht das Headset auch keinen hochwertigen Eindruck.Da ist die Elo Serie um einiges hochwertiger und um 50€ - 100€ günstiger. Ich werde wieder auf mein gutes Roccat Khane Headset mit Kabel zurückgreifen.149€ für diese Kopfhörer ist ein NO-GO!P.S.: Mikrofon habe ich nicht mehr getestet, da ich echt keinen Bock mehr auf das Gerät hatte.UPDATE:Ich hatte mich doch noch dazu durchgerungen das Mikrofon zu testen. Hätte ich mir auch sparen können.Die Mic-Qualität ist ebenfalls absolut unterdurchschnittlich. Der Hörer empfindet emfindet es deutlich leiser als andere Headsets und leicht "blechernd". Zudem hatte ich den Eindruck mich ständig leise selbst zu hören. Völlig unabhängig davon welche Software ich genutzt hatte. Selbst wenn das Mic einfach nur eingeschaltet war.Wenn der Mikrofonbügel runter bzw. hoch gedreht wird, fühlt es sich an, als wenn ich einen Bleistift anspitze.Also auch hier ein absoluter Qualitätsmangel.Solch enttäuschende Ergebnisse bei einem Headset hatte ich wirklich noch nie. Wirklich traurig.Wer wenigstens nur einen Hauch von Kenntnis für solche Geräte hat, wird dieses Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis als echt unverschämt einordnen. Unterirdisch, wirklich!Einpacken, Ticket drauf, und Retoure ...

I picked up a Roccat Keyboard and Mouse with my latest PC build and loved them so I though I’d try a headset and have my peripherals all under one roof so to speak.That’s where the first hurdle appeared. The Syn doesn’t load up under Swarm like my Kb Mouse! It uses a new piece of software called Neon. Great.So Neon is fine and there were sufficient options to personalise sound, lights, etc, but it’s a real shame Roccat and Turtle Beach can’t get their software sorted out as it’s a pain to have to use 2. (1st world problems yeah but still it’s 2022).Sound quality and mic quality on the headset is really really good, and is strange as the headset is so lightweight, it feels like it shouldn’t be able to push out such a full powerful sound, but it does.Now the reason I sent mine back wasn’t the software, sound or build quality, everything is great, BUT, those ear pads… oh my god what the hell were they thinking!! The ear pads are firstly made out of a weird material that feels like the back of a carpet, and it’s filled with pretty stiff memory foam. So after you pop this lovely lightweight headset on your ears, your met with some of the worst comfort I’ve felt on a headset. Aaaaaaand… they’re not removable! *facepalm*How Roccat and Turtle Beach can come together and still mess this up so badly is beyond me. Real shame, maybe (hopefully) they’ll make a V2.

I came from a set of Roccat Kave XTD 5.1s which were absolutely incredible headset. I used for 5 years and decided, as they started to crumble, it was time to replace.Naturally, being a Roccat fan I went straight for there most premium headset.. what a mistake that was, the whole headset as a unit feels cheap and plastic, the microphone is appalling and not easy to adjust. The earcups feel to small and tight, the headband feels heavy on your head, but worst of all is the software.I use roccat swarm (which is far from perfect) on all other devices I own, but Roccat neon (must use with this headset) makes swarm look perfect. It's slow, incomprehensible, ugly and doesn't communicate with swarm (mouse and keyboard software) I spent a good hour on Neon trying to improve the sound quality and mic quality of the Syn Air Pro, but no luck... And after this, it went straight back into its box, I couldn't even bare to try play a game with it, it was that bad.As a massive roccat fan I am very disappointed that this is there flagship headset, especially considering how good that Kave was. I instead purchased the Elo 7.1 air and this is a completely different headset, it's comfortable, lightweight, nicer design, feels more premium, better software (swarm) easier set up, better sound quality but this Elo still suffers from a below average mic, but it crushes the Syn Pro Air on absolutely everything else! Even battery life!Do yourself a favour, avoid this headset.. if you want a very good headset, look at Razer or Steel series, if (like me) it has to be Roccat, get the Elo 7.1 Air. They are SOO much better than the Syn Pro AND cheaper.

Voller Enthusiasmus habe ich dieses Headset vorab bestellt und gestern ist es angekommen.Ausgepackt, eingerichtet und direkt kam ein Update (Moment...das Teil ist doch erst am 20. auf den Markt gekommen)...Die neue Neon-Software (nein, nicht Swarm) sieht übersichtlich aus.Headset aufgesetzt, bei der Software auf Musik gestellt und einen Track ausgewählt... und dann einen Schock bekommen...Der Klang war unterirdisch....sowas von flach und ausdruckslos...aber es kommt noch besser...Bei dem Versuch, den Equalizer der Neon-Software einzustellen, stellte ich fest, dass der überhaupt nicht reagiert...also, die Regler lassen sich zwar verschieben, aber sie bewirken nichts...egal bei welcher Frequenz.Hinzu kommt auch noch, dass das Headset (wie auch beim Elo 7.1 Air) nur via USB geladen werden kann und dass das Kabel keine andere Funktion hat...wie zum Beispiel eine Verbindung für die Betriebnahme.Bei Spielen wurde es mit dem Sound auch nicht besser.Also, alles wieder eingepackt und return to sender...Fazit: für 150 Geld eine pure Enttäuschung.Dann lieber das Roccat Elo 7.1 Air oder das CoolerMaster MH670 (da hat man wenigstens noch einen Klinke-Anschluss und es fühlt sich wertiger an...und ist auch günstiger...(vorab, die Software von CoolerMaster ist aber nicht der Bringer, sprich den Klang besser mit dem Windows-Equalizer einstellen)Oder man holt sich das TurtleBeach Stealth 700...da ist noch Bluetooth bei, aber man bracht eventuell noch den X-Box Wireless-Adapter...so nebenbei...)
