So to start, i bought a Beautyrest cotton down summer blanket about 15 years ago at Walmart, for $25.00! (It's the light Sage colored blanket in the one photo) That blanket has been my most favorite bedding purchase, it's cotton and SUPER SOFT, and lightweight cool enough for the summer and great for the winter with a fuzzy blanket on top... great for year round. After all these years and countless washes, it has lost about 50% of its feathers, so it's incredibly thin, almost like two sheets sewn together. So here I am, trying to replace my most cherished blanket. It's been very difficult. All the cotton down blankets I've found for under $100.00 have been 300 thread count, which is like paper. And all the other ones that are more around my price point are polyester, which seems so hot. So I bought the 300 thread count cotton down blanket on amazon, it was $89.00. I get it, the color is not at all what was pictured and when I touched it it sounded like I was touching tissue paper. I returned it the next day. I came back to this blanket, which was my 1st thought. I bought the pink one because it was only 31.00 on sale. The material is super soft, ALMOSSSSST as soft as my super worn blanket. The stripes are super pretty, the silk trim is so soft, and sewn perfectly ( I saw comments on how it was sewn poorly, not mine). So many negative reviews on quality but I love my new blanket so far. Not sure about the pilling after many washes, I haven't gotten there yet. This blanket is SO much thicker than my old blanket and also a lot warmer, maybe too hot for summer. I find myself kicking it off me while I'm sleeping, hence the polyester. But its so cozy, soft and pretty. And the pink is so pretty. Long story long, I say buy it, it's worth it.

I have had a real down comforter for many years, and decided I would like to try a down alternative cover. I was not sure that it would provide the same warmth, but this one does deliver on that score. And it is pretty, not too heavy and now serves as a nice topper. I like that it is washable and that it does not need a duvet cover. It is complete as is, very pretty, keeps me perfectly warm on cold nights without being too heavy. Very pleased with it.

This is nice blanket/light comforter. It is good for me b/c I am warm all the time and didn't want something heavy. It is soft and fit well on our bed. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is I notice it is starting to pill.

I looked far and wide for a blanket or bed covering that was appropriate for summer nights and I found it in this. It's big, with a generous overhang, lightweight and yet warm enough for when the temperature drops during the night. Importantly, it's not heavy like a duvet and it looks good too. Very happy and will be buying another. I have not washed it yet but hope it measures up.

Very soft & pretty. The satin edges gives a nice touch

Purchased the king size blanket in beige. I was looking for a king size down or down-like comforter to replace a queen size down comforter that was too small for our king size bed. Decided to give the Downluxe blanket a try. It comes tightly rolled up so I washed it first thing (cold/delicate and low dry) and it fluffed up beautifully. Love the soft, striped fabric and satin trim on all the edges. It is more lightweight than the down one we had but works nicely under a quilted bedspread to keep the warm in, plus the lighter weight is easier to pull up and down when getting in/out or making the bed. It is a good value for the money. Will update this review if any issues arrive but so far, so good!

Got the sand colour. Really nice shade. Love the ‘satin’ trim & stripe. Washed it when I received it & came out lovely. Just warm enough for me in the winter & should be ok for warmer weather as well. Price was right. Nothing bad to say.

It's a great blanket, heavy when folded up but the weight is distributed nice when it's flat. You can't feel the beads rolling around like you can with my other weighted blanket, which is much more comfortable. I used it as an oversized comforter on a double bed so I'm not sure if the size is accurate, but there is lots of overhang.

Best weighted blanket ever!!!!!

Love this blanket! Other weighted blankets I've had are weird sizes and do not wash well. This blanket washes very well, weight is evenly distributed, and it's the perfect size for a queen bed. Fits in 90x90 duvet covers beautifully. No complaints; would definitely recommend.
