Best Bird Seed container on the market. This is such a well-made product. The lid does not need to be removed to either fill or disperse seed or dog or cat food from this container. That means that the lip of the container itself won't eventually get worn away like other containers do. As a matter of fact, I use my old birdseed container (that the lid kept falling off of) to scoop up the birdseed to pour into this container. The front half of this container will lift up to make filling it so easy. It has a sturdy handle, holds a large quantity of seed or pet food and is easy to poor. it is sturdy and will last for years.

This is the container I kept looking for. It holds our dogs tall, 35 pound bag of food. It slides right in and goes all the way to the top when a new, full bag is inserted. I love that I can just put the bag and everything inside the container. It keeps the container clean, no need for washing out stale food crumbs that stick to the bottom. It is streamlined and slides right into the space where I store it. The wheels roll smoothly, although they were a bit difficult to put into the slots. I had to use a rubber mallet and give them a good whack! Great, securely latching lid. This is a winner and I would buy it again.

Great for keeping dog food fresh and secure. Glad it came with a measuring cup. It’s easy to move around with the wheels and handle and very convenient to close and open. It fits a large 50lb bag of dog food.

I have been searching for a good way to store bird seed that would replace using plastic milk jugs (which I have been using for many, many years). But I always end up sticking with the milk jugs since they are light and easy to carry - but certainly not perfect and time consuming to fill (however, the price can't be beat!). I was a bit hesitant to purchase these containers due to the negative reviews, but I am glad I did. They are great - nice size (not too heavy to carry out to the bird feeders; easy to pour). As for being air-tight, I would definitely not say that, but mine do snap close. I read a bunch of reviews that commented that the lids did not actually seal but rather just lay down. I didn't find that; for me, the entire top seals (like Tupperware, just not as well) and the spout (which is integrated into the lid and folds out to form the spout) snaps back in. I wouldn't trust either of these seals to outside critters, though. And I didn't test this - and hopefully won't - but I would guess that if filled completely with heavy seed and then knocked over, you would end up with quite a mess. Nonetheless, since I will be keeping these inside the house, they work perfect for me and take up much less room than all the milk jugs!

I bought one of these because we have 3 dogs on 3 kinds of food (kidney, senior, and puppy). We have 1 big bin, and one smaller container much like this one, so we needed a third. I ended up getting this one after trying plain storage bins from the local store. The bins were not satisfactory for me, as the lock down handles had significant air gaps for the hinges. This Buddeez container was not a cheap option but it works. When I received it I compared it to the other smaller container we had, it is a Science Diet complimentary one from our vet, but it is actually made by Buddeez and is the same exact container with just a Science Diet lid. The lids fit tight, but are probably not technically air tight. There is no seal, just hard plastic pieces tight together and hinges. For us it works and I don't notice any smell in our closet. I can fit 15 pounds of puppy food in the 16 quart container. It will also fit 15 pounds of larger kibble of the senior food. It is a tight fit, so a 15 pound bag itself probably will not fit, the food needs to be dumped from the bag. The biggest drawback is the price. I am not sure it's worth it, but on the other hand I could not find a better option. A local store had one for half the price, but it was smaller and would not hold the 15 pounds. If you can deal with it being over priced and do not need it to be truly airtight, I recommend it. If you need something that holds closer to 10 pounds, you may be able to find cheaper options.

I was looking for something to store my furbaby's 13.5lb kitty food in that would fit in my pantry under the bottom shelf and this Buddeez Large Dry Dog & Cat Food Plastic Storage Container was PURRRFECT!! This container fits our cats 13.5lb Chicken Soup for the Cat's Soul food with a bit of room to spare. The container is sealed and we've had no problems with anything finding it's way into the container including our cat. The container has a nice spout to pour the food from; we pour into an automatic feeder. It also has a handle which makes for easy pouring but also for carrying to the food dispenser and putting back under the pantry shelf. The container is a nice shape and size, as well as a nice streamlined look. A lot of the food containers I looked at were very bulky looking, this is not that container. I also purchased this product because it listed the dimensions. A lot of the containers only listed how many pounds the container would hold, which made zero sense to me since weight is dependent on the product - 12lbs of feathers is going to be a heck of a lot more feathers than 12lbs of pebbles; the same is true for pet food, especially a product that's for dog AND cat food. Suffice to say, we are VERY happy with this purchase. As I said, it works purrrfectly and is well worth the price tag.

After an exhaustive search for a decent, affordable solution to what to do with all my bags of pellets laying around, I started looking at pet food containers. Like a couple other reviewers have said, these seem to fit the bill pretty well. The size I got is the large "up to 12 lbs" size, (which is also the 16 qt size, which also says "up to 16 lbs" on the actual sticker that's on the bucket - nice and confusing). It holds exactly one 20 lb bag of Traeger pellets. My only wish would be that it would hold closer to 1.5 bags so when you get low and refill it, it would all fit but this is a nice manageable, stackable size to work with. I'm going to get a couple extra's to stuff the partial bags in. There is a 22lb (32 QT) size that seems to hold just shy of 2 bags, but I opted to keep these as they fit better where I store them. If you are obsessed with airtight storage you will want to keep searching (good luck with that) but these are reasonably well sealed for indoor use. I was looking for something airtight to keep them outside but these make it easy enough to store indoors now which is a better solution anyway. They easily stack 2 high and are probably sturdy enough to stack 3 high (they seem pretty solid) but they are tall and skinny so be careful about them falling over.

I am very pleased with the large 50 lb food storage. For health and simplistic reason's, I place my 22.5 lb. Kibble, in original bag, into the container. Yes, I don't empty the food into the container. You can find the reasons why on line. I also have his treats in the same container. The two openings have gastric seals that keep everything fresh and healthy. The 2 openings are generous. Its easy to reach in to scoop food and the 1 cup measuring cup attatches easly to the inside. I wish the different measurements were easier to see. This comes with 2 wheels, I chose not to attach them. Also, it is stated the plastic is safe. This meets all my needs. I can easly place the original dogfood bag into this. Reaching in, to scoop food is easy. The lid is secure and seals. The shape saves me space. This container is not thin or flimsy. I will be purchasing more for bird food and the kitchen .

Estuve buscando por algún tiempo algo que fuera práctico para servir las croquetas a mis mascotas, que no entraran hormigas, y que no me ocupara mucho espacio de almacenaje, y ésta fue la mejor opción....... solo abarca un poco de espacio, puedo tenerlas dentro de un gabinete en la cocina, le cabe bastante, al servir no se hace cochinero y es muy practico, no guarda olores la alacena, hasta el momento no se han metido hormiguitas.

Fue la solución perfecta para el robo y destrucción de croquetas a patas y dientes de tres peludos. Muy buena calidad, y resistente a sus últimos intentos de abrirla. Al final, se resignaron y ya ni siquiera se acercan. Viene con una taza súper útil para servir las croquetas y armar las llantas es muy fácil, aunque sí es necesario un martillo de goma (no tenía pero martillo envuelto en un trapo funcionó perfecto). Para los que usamos como medida el kilo, cabe perfectamente una bolsa de 13k. Es relativamente angosta por lo que cabe en lugares pequeños.

Good for filling bird feeders

The lid can be used in either direction (quick access opening on the side with the wheels or the feet). Perfect for putting in the corner. The plastic feels very sturdy. The lid has a rubber gasket which is great for keeping the kiddle fresh and inspects out.

The ad says this container is for pet food but it works for so many other things. I bought this for the 2kg packages of oatmeal and thanks to this container I no longer have issues with closing the bag. When it's full it's easy to lift, the spout makes it easy to pour if you wish or half of the lid flips up to put a scoop in to get the food out. Thanks to the accurate measurements in the description it fits perfectly into the small cabinet that I have it in. I am very pleased with my purchase.
