Gaiam Kids Balance Ball Chair, Active Seating, Metal Frame (Blue/Green)

I have been dealing with sever neck/shoulder pain. After many visits to chiropractors, PT, massage, I learned that sitting on my couch with my spine rounded is one of the issues. So I purchased this chair to sit while watching TV. It's confirmable and helping me with my posture = reducing the pain. I am 5 foot. When the ball is fully expanded, it is too tall if I sat all the way back. I released some air and put a pillow against my back. Now it's perfect. If you are using this to sit without a desk, I'd say it will fit for petite/short adults.

Easy to Put together, we got for my son since he struggles to sit still. Definitely kids size and sits too low for a standard table so he just uses to for fun now.

Provides good sensory input to my little friends.

I bought 2 of these chairs for my classroom. I work with 3rd and 4th graders. The chair fit my 3rd graders well but was a bit short for my 4th graders in my opinion. However the students LOVE this chair! They bounce and work. The only issue I had was the amount of time to get the ball just right. It took about 1 week to pump the ball to expectation, so patience is needed (which can be hard for children, when they see a new item). After a week the chair was ready and it has been in use everyday. I am thinking of trying the adult chair for my 4th graders.

Chair is comically low. Fits my two-year-old but definitely not my five-year-old and it does not work at a normal kid’s desk but does fit at a toddler table. Top of ball is 15 inches off the ground before you sit on it and compress it. The casters are poor quality and do not work on a hardwood floor with the locks off while someone is sitting on it.

This is a great chair for your young kiddo to sit and do homework, color, legos, etc...It comes with a pump, however it does take a bit of time to pump up. I didn't use an air compressor, which would have probably made it easier. The instructions indicate the size of the ball with max blow up - adhere to that. If blown up properly, the ball will fit snuggly into the base, and will allow for firm seating. This is not a toy, not meant to bounce on. It's great for core strengthening and back. Great chair, may buy more. Great for flexible seating within the classroom as well.

I bought this for my 8 year old when the indoor trampoline I purchased lost a leg so he could get in his daily, constant bouncing. I never even took it out of the box. When it came it said it was for kids up to 8 years old so I sent it back. I found out after that there isn't a yoga/sensory ball for people between 4'3" & 5' tall. I'm not really happy that this, meant for kids, was too small for an 8 year old.

If I could rate this chair out of 10, I’d give it a 12. It has surpassed my expectations. It’s the perfect size for 4-7 year olds. The ball inflates to 15 inches. I will be a customer of this brand for life. I am so impressed! It even came with the tools needed to put the chair together, and a ball pump to inflate the ball. I put it together in under 5 minutes, it was so easy to construct. I will be sharing this product with all of my mom friends. I just received the item. And the there are only 3 screw , it has to have 4 screws .

The inflatable ball was the problem with this chair. It must be faulty however, I couldn’t find the leak. Kept having to pump it up. I would have given a better star rating if the ball part filled properly. The rest of the chair was well made. Casters worked well. My son spent more time doing zoomies on it than bouncing though *sigh*. I should have bought the larger chair.

Ball was too small for the seat and I can't blow it up more. It drags on the floor when rolling the chair along.
