Nice collection, but...
If I were to rate this on value alone, how could I not give it five stars? You get an incredible amount of music for a comparative pittance. And if I had never heard any of the songs in this collection, I'm sure I'd have no complaints. But I have the "Percy Faith's Greatest Hits" album; and, although it's a mono album -- or, rather, because it's a mono album -- it retains the mixes done by the original producers when the songs were first released. The song "Delicado," as originally mixed, features the harpsichord of Stan Freeman in the foreground as the lead melody instrument. If you don't own the "Greatest Hits" album, go to Youtube and listen to "Delicado" there. Or just follow the Amazon link to the song being sold separately and listen to the sample:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Delicado/dp/B0059CB4Q8You'll hear what I hear -- in this remaster by Real Gone Music, the harpsichord has been buried by the background instruments, which have been pushed into the foreground. You can barely hear the lead instrument that's supposed to carry the melody. So, despite the huge selection of songs at an incredible price, which you have to like, the presentation, at least on that song, is badly distorted. Yes, it's still nice background music if you don't care about its authenticity. But if you think you're hearing what people heard when the song was released, you're deceived by this awful remastering job. Because my own acquaintance with Faith's catalog is extremely limited (I only knew a few of his hits from hearing them on the easy-listening station at work), there's no way I can tell if the rest of the songs on this Real Gone Music reissue resemble the original versions, unless I locate and buy the originals on vinyl -- and that ain't happening. So, much as I'd like to give this product a higher rating, the poor mastering of at least one of Percy's biggest hits -- and, the doubt this creates in my mind about the authenticity of the other tracks -- persuades me to give no more than three stars.[Update: Thanks to a helpful and knowledgeable customer (see the appended comments), I've since learned that this mix of "Delicado," which diverges radically from the 1952 mix in the "Greatest Hits" collection, is, in fact, true to the mix released on the "Music of Brazil" album that debuted in 1962. Consequently, I've revised my rating to the five stars this collection merits, considering that it offers so much music at such an uncommon discount, the inferior but authentic mix on that one song notwithstanding.]

The dealer provided a CD collection of wonderful quantity - as well as quality- at a great value.
The dealer shipped this item within a couple of days of the order. This CD compilation was received promptly and in great shape. It was a nice surprise to see so many musical selections on the CDs that were included in this collection. The recordings are original, but appear to sound better than I can remember when I heard them originally as a kid. Thank you for providing this voluminous material of great quality.

Keep The Faith, Great Sounds
Always a great conductor of wonderful music. His arrangements have always filled my room with great sounding tunes. Quality of this recording has been done very well and I am very pleased to add it to my collection.

For Percy Faith Fans
I appreciate that these albums are available on CD. Records are too labor intensive for me.

One of the best conductors and arrangers around
The first LP I bought was by Percy Faith. His style and use of instrumental coloring is always interesting. Not all of his recordings are the songs "you know and love," but some new compositions that are imaginative, fun or romantic. To get 6 albums in one set is a sheer delight. An amazing bargain with an amazing "star."

Purchased out of fondness for the past. Alas, my memory did me a disservice. Put it in the "Thrift Store" pile.

What Easy Listening Music was Meant to be
A pleasure to listen to! I love to listen to the songs that I enjoyed when I was younger. These are great arrangements, and invite the listener to just lie back and enjoy. Glad I got it.

Exceptional but could be better
The sound is exceptional. My problem is that the titles of the songs do not display while playing them in my vehicle.

Percy Faith and his master musicans
I have played two of the discs in this set. Presently halfway through the third. This is incredible music, thoroughly enjoying it. His musicans are nothing less than masters of music.
