We were looking for a small Bluetooth speaker to use in our bathroom that we could connect up with our two iPhones. We had tried another speaker but had to return it as it wouldn't allow connection to a second device if the first was in the house somewhere. This one works perfectly allowing easy connection from one device to the other. It is super small (see picture with iPhone) but has great sound which is plenty loud enough at the medium level to be heard while using the shower. With it's IP5 rating I guess you could safely place it inside the shower cubicle but we see no reason too as we can hear it well enough from outside. Some reviewers have complained about the sound quality but for under £30 we find it brilliant. To paraphrase Basil Fawlty "what were you expecting to hear from a small £30 speaker, Albert Hall filling stereo sound?" If you want such high level sound quality I believe Bose do a similar speaker at around £200

Sounds good for what it is. Connect two of them and you get a pretty good sound that fills the room, albeit without any thumping bass. But they aren't designed for that. Couple of issues though. The design of the case is rubbish. Being round and quite heavy for its size means it rolls around. The slightest knock and it has fallen over. It needs a better designed base. The battery life is also a work of fiction too.

My JBL speaker blew up (probably being played too loud), so having read up on this product decided to give it a go. Very impressed with the quality and build and works well connecting to Bluetooth on all my audio devices except the Apple i-mac. It works fine off the iPhone but when connected to the i-Mac mini it just buffers and loses connectivity. I'm no, expert but suspect it has something to do with the M1 chip and the 5 Ghz output causing interference. Sadly, you can't "hard wire it" either. Other than that, it's an impressive speaker given its size.
