THEY TEND TO SQUEEK

These shoes are the best I've found for heavy-duty walking. They give great support, are very comfortable, the most durable and keep my feet well. I do have to change it the inserts with the red ones for people with flat feet, but they are the best. I keep trying it other shoes, but these always outperform all the others to-date. If I ever find a better shoe, I will update this review.

Products have been cut as prices go up. My shoe size 11 1/2 men’s. It mfits fine in my other cross trainers. This one toes are tight. Nothings happened to foot size. They shaved a hair in length off. Similar to smaller soda cans, most canned items. Probably doesn’t matter to other people since their feet allow more room.

I've gone through 7 or 8 pairs of these! They won't last forever though...

I've ordered at least a half dozen pairs of these over the years. I LOVE the design and the comfort of the shoe... BUT EVERY SINGLE PAIR SQUEEKS. And every single pair, eventually delaminates (pulls apart) around the edges of the sole, leather upper and the black nose piece... which is actually part of the sole. And as such, renders these shoes useless (they leak) far before the sole wears out.From a quality standpoint they are terrible and Nike either needs to re-evaluate their Quality Control process or redesign the shoe. I read a review here that recommends using a bit of WD-40 under the inner sole. I may try that and hopfully that solves the squeeking issue but with the number of reviews that reflect this issue... fixing the root cause of the problem should be a Nike priority. Judging from the number of complaints regarding these issues... either Nike doesn't read them or they don't care.
