Not easy to install, Torx 20 and allen key required, not supplied
Firstly, when you receive this, you have to assemble each brush into its housing which is tricky as the instructions are not very clear and there are 5 parts to each housing-brush structure. To do this you need an allen key which is not supplied and be quite clever to interpret the diagrams properlyThen you have to turn your mower over and locate the fixing point for each housing, one for each wheel which are tricky to locate and quite deep into the structure. You then need a Torq 20 screwdriver which is also called a 'star' screwdriver, not supplied and not all that common in most peoples toolkits. All in all a tricky process that would be too much for 7 out of 10 people. Plus after all this your mower will now make a noise as the wheels brush themselves clean. Too early to say how effective the brushes are or how long they'll last but a spare pair are included. I dont think spare brushes can be bought seperately though

They should have been included with a £500 mower...
Prior to attaching to your mower (I have an Easilife 350), you'll have to assemble the pieces provided in this kit.For each wheel, there's 3 parts: The bit that attaches to the mower, a brush, a piece of plastic that clips those two together. It's secured with an allen key, or a Torx (I forget which). You then fit to the underside of the mower & secure with another screw.I haven't had them long, but they seemed to work. The acid test will be in a few months time when it comes out again after winter, and whether or not the bristles end up being bent/deformed after a few months in storage - you do get two spare brushes though. For over £20, it's a bit expensive but if it keeps the wheels clean - and in-doing-so minimises damage to a wet lawn it's worth a punt.
