Leather Rescue Deep Cleaner for Leather, Suede, and Nubuck

A couple of months ago, I wrote a review giving this item a 4-star rating, but now I want to correct this by giving this product a 2-star rating because I don't find it very useful. I do not know if I apply the cleaner in a right way, but I followed the instruction on its back side very carefully on my leather shoulder bag and didn't find it cleaned at all. Instead, it gives my bag a very dry while slightly yellowish feeling. I've used it on one of my suede booties, and it ended up with a dry feeling as well. I am very disappointed.

I've been using an expensive cleaner/conditioner combo that I researched from high end automotive restoration and maintenance articles.Pretty much 3x the price of this.Figured I'd give this a shot due to the reviews.It does clean but not any better than some other relatively cheap products.We have 12 cars with various interior materials so I've had plenty of practice.The matching conditioner on the other hand is nowhere near the product that the more expensive one which I use is.I may continue to buy this cleaner because it works and it's cheap, but I will not buy the conditioner again, I may not even finish using it.It did not get into any of the materials in my old car after sitting 2 days in the sun. Still oily and shiny. The expensive product will absorb in heat and sunlight and barely require a final wipe after slathering that conditioner on.But as mentioned this cleaner is in the same ballpark as others that are satisfactory and a decent price.

This product does a nice job of gently cleaning leather, removing some fine scratches, generally sprucing up the appearance of leather. I had purchased it specifically to attempt to remove a stain caused by a splotch of baby cream which contains coconut oil and other moisturizers getting on the seat of a leather armchair. This product, even after 10 repeated applications following the instructions perfectly, helped to an extent, but did not result in what anyone would describe as a "deep clean" effect of that area. However, the rest of the cushion and the chair itself looked very nice when I was done. I could definitely tell this product had made a difference even though the chair was already in pretty good shape - to me the effect was more like a mild cleaner and decent conditioner combined than a deep cleaner.

This product literally cleaned nothing on our suede leather couch. We had high expectations in that the description reads deep penetrating cleaner for use on suede leather. It did penetrate the leather, but none of the stains, dirt or body oils were removed. What a disappointment.

Great cleaner on normal application and maintenance. Expected heavy duty from its title. If its real old n ugly..just like any light soap you need to repeat a few times. 2005 neglected leather car seats still not all cleared of stains but its better and cleaner. Good for shoes and newer leather car seats or jackets. Use a wet sponge or detail cloth or even a spary bottle with lil water or not.. Turn over cloth or use plenty of clean sides of clothes while removing cleaner.The conditioner says to use mild warm soap water not this cleaner. Thats odd it didnt say both or just the cleaner like any two part product. Fyi the smaller conditioner bottle lasts. Not half the bottle used on a 3 row vehicle.

I used Leather Rescue to clean my beige suede leather sofa and chair. The results were great! Took off a ink pen and small nail polish mark. Looks like I have a fresh and almost new coach and chair. I'd recommend this product.

I used it on my moderately dirty light brown suede shoes. Didn't do a thing. The shoes looked the same after they dried. For me it wasn't worth the work and cost.

I wanted it to take ink off my leather purse, it did not, but did clean other area and nourished the leather
