PetSafe Come with Me Kitty Harness and Bungee Leash, Large, Black

I purchased this set for my aging cat (who was 9 when I bought this and is now 11) when it became clear that he was no longer suited for his previous indoor/outdoor lifestyle and would be a healthier, safer cat if he was kept inside as much as possible. I didn't want to completely isolate him from the outside world, but I also didn't want him to be put at risk of sickness or injury. Walks together using this harness and leash was the perfect solution to the problem and was a good compromise for both me and the cat. He gets to enjoy the fresh air and mark his territory and get exercise, while I get the peace of mind that comes with knowing he's not in harm's way. Now, Blizzard is one of those uncommon cats that doesn't really ever fight me on anything, even if he's not thrilled, he just passively takes whatever I decide to do to him. He lets me give him baths, touch his tummy, get stuff from his eyes, check around in his mouth, wipe his butt, all that kind of stuff that cats generally fight their owners on, so he really had no trouble getting the harness on or walking with it on. I don't expect that to be the general experience, but for my cat, it was no trouble at all. He didn't fight the harness, try to slip out of it, lay down in defiance, or refuse to walk. In fact, the only trouble I run into with taking him on walks is that he sometimes hisses at me when we're on walks and he isn't quite ready to stop sniffing something and I want to keep moving (which isn't the product's fault!). I will say, however, that I find this product's sizing to be a little weird. Blizzard is not a large cat at all. In fact, he's considerably smaller than most of the other cats I've had in my life and most of the cats I see around the neighborhood. I'm quite sure my little bobbed-tail baby was the runt of his litter. He weighs about 10 lbs. But the large size harness fits in pretty well without a lot of adjusting. I'd definitely measure your cat and compare the numbers to what the product description says before purchasing! Other than this, I find the harness to be a quality product that's held up well. A few times Blizzard has tried to dart off very quickly while wearing the harness/leash and managed to get a front leg free from the force of suddenly running, but he's never been able to fully pull himself out the harness, so I think this is a worthwhile buy if you have a wiggly, slinky cat that's prone to slipping free. There are several ways/places to adjust the harness, so it can be tightened to each cat in the way that it needs to be to ensure the cat is secure and won't be getting off their leash anytime soon. The harness is also pretty comfy apparently, since Blizzard has been able to lounge and snooze in his without trying to scratch his way free of it. It was also a perk that the harness/leash set comes in so many colors! Overall, a five star product

This is the best rabbit harness I've tried. So many of the others are really cat harnesses with wide straps across the front. Those wide front straps would go across a cat's chest, but end up cutting into the rabbit's neck. This one is just small, but secure, straps and is easy to get on/off. I can't say that my rabbit loves being on a leash, but this one is the best I've found for him when a leash is needed.

I had a harness years ago that I used while I was moving, on one of my cats who was pretty wild and a mostly outdoor cat at the time. He was able to get out of it like Houdini and I never used it again. Thank GOD I was able to quietly walk over and retrieve him before he took off & delayed the move! I was attracted to this one because it is reasonably priced and not only came with a leash, but a bungee leash. My husband and I moved a year ago and since then our three cats, including the aforementioned cat, have become exclusively indoor cats. I thought this would be a good way to let them get outdoors with us, but remain safe. I thought I would buy one harness to start with and see how it goes. Two of our cats have not taken well to the harness so far, but the cat I mentioned before whom I have had the longest, did the best. He was so happy to claw on tree bark again! The first time we went out, he just might have led me all over the neighborhood if I had let him walk that far. Last time however, he was doing wonderfully until a neighbor came out and said "Hello." I forgot how afraid of strangers he is and he pulled walking backwards hard enough that he slipped right out of the harness! He has always been a very strong (and strong-willed!) cat, but I did not think this would happen. Luckily, he ran straight to the back door from which we had exited and did not get lost. I did not want to ruin his experience so I put it back on him & walked around in a quiet area for a few minutes before I took him back inside. I will probably use this again under even closer supervision and may need to tighten it more. I thought it was pretty snug though. This might be best for us on an early morning or late night when there is minimal traffic from people and cars. All of the noises here are strange to them. I am afraid of him getting loose again and will take great care that it does not happen any more. This does seem to be a good product and even comes with a helpful booklet. The book tells you how to fasten the harness correctly and has some good tips for on how to introduce kitty to the outdoors. I might invest in a more expensive vest style harness next time. I think this one will work well for someone with more docile cats or with a kitten that is being trained and introduced to a harness. Next time I have very young cats I am going to be getting them used to harnesses-as well as baths!-from a young age.

From the moment I tried it on my cats, I could tell it was well-designed with their comfort in mind — it doesn’t put pressure on their throats and fits snugly without restricting their movement. The adjustable straps made it easy to get a perfect fit for both of them, and the bungee leash gives just the right amount of give when they get excited about exploring outdoors. It’s lightweight, durable, and feels high quality for the price. Unlike other harnesses we’ve tried, this one stays secure without making them unhappy — they actually seem to tolerate it well and even enjoy our outings together! Would definitely recommend it to any cat parent looking for a reliable and comfortable harness.

Came in a plastic bag, no packaging, and missing the leash altogether. Only received the harness. Was probably a returned item that was resold to me. Harness works fine, but as some have mentioned, can be a little tricky to pull over the head of a feisty cat for the neck portion. The waist portion has 2 snaps you can unclick, so kitty doesn't need to step into it. I got a medium size and my cat is relatively small, weighing about 7-8 lbs. Medium was big enough for me to tighten to fit her safely but not too small that she was uncomfortable. If you don't adjust the rubber stopper on the back piece, they can loosen themselves free. The rubber stopper keeps the harness snug at the size you make it.

A friend recommended this for my kitty. I was skeptical because I had bought a tiny dog halter for my previous cat, and she had easily slipped out. Now I have a 9 month old boy kitty and am tired of wasting time chasing him down every time he slips out my door. I didn't have time to shop and check for reviews for a leash and cat halter, and so I just went with my friend's recommendation. I could not believe the leash + halter was such a low price. I was prepared to be disappointed, but am beyond happy. This is very easy to slip and clip on and off, once you get used to doing it and get it all adjusted to your cat's shape and size. My kitty is unable to slip out of it. It was very easy to check the sizes and measure my kitty with a soft tape measure, and the size fits him perfectly and he has room to grow.

I’ve tried a few different harnesses for my cat, and this one is by far the best. The PetSafe Come with Me Kitty Harness fits comfortably and securely without feeling too tight, and the bungee-style leash is a great feature, it gives my cat a little freedom to explore while keeping her safe. I got a cute blue color and It's super easy to put on and makes taking my cat on walks very hassle free. It doesn't pull at the neck like some other harnesses do and the overall quality feels great! Domestic Shorthair 11.6 lbs - we ordered the LARGE in purple We bought this harness for our one eyed rescue as part of preparing for a cross-country move. This was her very first introduction to any harness, so we introduced it slowly over six months. Now she confidently wears it with no issues. She has never been able to escape this style of harness during all her indoor practice sessions. We had also tried a soft harness that came highly recommended, but she always managed to slip an arm out of it, which was not an option for us. This one has been far more secure. The extra bit that hangs for leash attachment me just wrap around to prevent it from flying around. No harness or collar is ever 100 percent escape proof, and responsible supervision is always key. Our cat is an indoor-only girl, but with the upcoming travel it gives us extra control and peace of mind if she needs a break from her carrier. Compared to other options on the market, this one feels safer, more secure, and surprisingly comfortable for her. She truly seems to Lu bothered by it. For anyone preparing for travel or looking for a reliable harness, this has been the best choice for us. Like anything with cats, slow introduction and positive reinforcement goes a long way.

My cat is 9 and I decided to try leash training her. This leash is perfect. It doesn’t hinder her movement at all and she forgets that it’s there. I found that she was fast to learn once she realized I’d let her go onto the balcony with the leash on.

Très bon produit en tout cas pour l'essai (je ne l'ai pas testé en sortie avec mon chat). La taille est réglable ce qui est très bien poue que mon chat soir à l'aise (ceux que j'avais déjà essayé étaient souvent trop petits sous le coup et qui ramène au poitrail) Par contre livraison médiocre le colis à été laissé en bas de mon immeuble à l'extérieur. Aucun appel aucun message pour me prévenir. Et en plus la livraison à été notée comme "déposé dans la boîte aux lettres). J'ai dû demander à mes voisins si quelqu'un l'avait en sa possession

Awesome harness for my 5 month old kitten. It is currently probably a tiny bit too big for him (I got a medium) but he’s still growing and this harness is very adjustable so it fit him well. This is our 3rd harness we have tried so Oliver (the cat) is used to harnesses now. He was able to move freely and run around which other harnesses have restricted his movements and he lays there. It’s pretty simple to put on, and comes with instructions that are very detailed. To get him used to this new harness a bit quicker I played with him and gave him treats while he was wearing the harness. As shown in the photo, I took his favourite toy (da bird by go cat) with us outside this was also done incase he was able to escape the harness, I could lure him back. He was able to play and jump around in it and did alot of running, which he never did in his last harnesses. I did measure him before getting the harness according to measurements he was a small to medium cat. I am not sure if that’s correct to be honest. I might have accidentally measured him after he ate. Thankfully it’s very adjustable so he will grow into it and fits him pretty well now. I also pair this with a retractable leash as I find it easier, and it gave Oliver some more freedom. Oliver has only been wearing harness for the last 2 months and he has taken to this one the quickest. So, this is a win for us!

I'd originally gotten a size medium (in the red) because I worried a small wouldn't fit my (rather fat) rabbit. The medium fit, but it trailed at the back where the rabbit could get at it. You can see what he's done to it. The end is all chewed up. Still, I've been using it for two years and he wasn't even really close to getting through, but not to tempt the devil, I finally decided to try a size small (in the purple). As you can see, it fits him just fine (on the loosest settings), and he can't get at the tail end anymore, so he won't be chewing this one at all. Even though the red was a bit loose, he could never get out of it. He kept tugging the H-shape harness I'd been using previously halfway off, which is why I ended up trying this model. This is the best harness I've used. So durable and well engineered, easy to put on, not bulky, so the rabbit doesn't mind it. I won't be getting much use out of the leash that comes with it. That would definitely get chewed to pieces, that's why I use a cable leash I got separately when I take him outside. But to go to the vet or someplace where the least won't be used for long, it works great. I love the bounciness, that's very fun, and it does seem to prevent any rough tugging. At the end of the day, I've got nothing bad to say about this product, I'm a huge fan.

Por fin encontré un arnés que fuera fácil de poner. Mis gatos odiaban los que se pasan las patas por hoyos o los que tienen un broche en el cuello. En éste se pasa la cabeza por un hoyo y sólo tiene broches en el tórax, por lo que no ocupas manipular mucho a los gatos para ponerlo o quitarlo, y tiene 4 puntos de ajuste para que quede perfectamente cómodo.
