Pretty easy to install, I used this for protection of the roof on my model Y. The entire installation took about an hour as I hav never done this before. Just grab a bottle of soapy water and you can start PPF your own car! Pretty amazing.

As similar to installing window film, this product was easy to apply to our painted bumper, yet does take some time to get bubbles out of hard changes of surface directions. Even as such, the product has provided a protective surface over our painted bumper… painted a color that is difficult ot touch up. Having left-over material, I will be using it on future surfaces.

I'm sure it's a fine product and works well with a proper installation, but I had no luck getting this to work right on my headlights. If you don't have the patience for doing things that are tedious and frustrating, this is not for you and I recommend having a professional install it. It would be easy to placed on lights that are mostly flat and rectangular, but modem car headlights with more complex shapes are significantly more challenging to wrap without getting several wrinkles and air pockets. My headlights have a sharp crease line in them that made it almost impossible to stretch over. Even with heat applied and numerous reapplications with wet film, it simply would not adhere smoothly and I had to give up. My headlights are also very large and took 99% of the roll to completely cover and even then the width is only barely wide enough for them - this leaves NO room for mistakes. And mistakes are easy when you're working with a giant curled up rectangle of adhesive vinyl... this stuff wants to curl and stick to itself constantly and it's hard to peel apart again. If you're working with huge pieces like I had to, I almost recommend having a second person to hold the other end of the sheet for you so it can stretch from all 4 corners. That might make applying it easier too. I don't want to knock the product itself too much because I can tell it's high quality vinyl. The parts that did stick properly were nice and clear and it was easy to squeegee out the moisture. I recommend buying a softer silicone or rubber squeegee though, as the provided plastic one seems really sharp. Overall, this is not a simple product to install if you have complex headlights. It takes a ton of patience, some handy skills, and extreme delicacy to do it right. I'm not really sure it's worth the frustration for a few years of protection that a good spray-on clear coat might be able to compete with.

Works Great and Fairly Thick in size. However I was missing the squeegee and the x2 felts. Most likely was missed by amazon. First time wrapping & overall great item and satisfied with the results. Tools Recommended: x1 - 3m Film x1 - Squeegee Set x1 - Sharp Surgical Knife x1 - Heat Gun (Blow Dryer Works) x1 - Alcohol Spray - (1/4 alcohol & 3/4 water) x1 - Bottle of Distilled Water mixed with Soap (Use Distilled Water if available I used R/O Water) I recommend buying a squeegee set with a sharp cutting knife as the PPF is fairly thick to cut. I tried both methods. Starting from the more difficult side first or starting from the easier side. Difficult side is usually the side where your light curves to your side fenders and has 4 points on the light like a pyramid. I find it easier to start on the more difficult side first as you can have flexibility as the other side would be wet. Start off by spraying the soap & water mixture on the headlights and 3m Film (both sides). Adjust the film to the desired fitment on the headlight. Use alcohol mixture spray on the underside of the film to stick ontop of the headlight while squeegee outwards towards the fender to allow the film to stick onto the corner of headlights. Once you get all the air bubbles out of that corner and the entire corner is sealed. I would pull and stretch the film to adjust fitment onto the headlights as stretching is required to correctly fit this difficult side of the headlights. If you make any mistakes or need readjustments just spray with soap mixture bottle and pull back the film alittle to readjust and continue stretching pull up down and to the opposite side of the sealed portion of the headlight. Use alcohol spray as a sealer while working outwards to continue sealing the other portion of the headlights. Once completed I find the cutting portion was difficult to make a nice straight cut . But nevertheless it worked. Once cut you can use soap mixture and squeegee the edges and use the heatgun to seal. Use the alcohol spray instead if the edges are being difficult. Note: Pretend its a “Saran Wrap for food”
