***UPDATE***My husband enjoys tea and I got this really pretty kettle that makes hot water fast. Now it is less than 2 1/2 months since I’ve purchased it and it’s broken. It won’t turn off. So if we don’t watch it, it will boil until it boils all the water out. My return window has already ended, so I can’t return or replace it. This was an expensive item that I got largely in part because it looks so nice. I’m very disappointed.*After writing this review, we found out our toddler could reach the on switch because said husband would put the kettle on the edge of the countertop. Once the kettle was moved back, our “problem” stopped. Revised my review to 5 stars.~sorry~

I ordered this over three years ago, and was a bit skeptical because some of the reviews. However, it is still use every day, looks great, and we have had no issues with it. Aside from it being efficient, I get compliments on it every time someone sees it. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun, aesthetic piece for your kitchen.

Heats water quickly, has a pretty large capacity, and it looks great!

This electric teakettle is awesome! It’s got a really cool steampunk look to it which looks fantastic in my kitchen. It’s a good size for my family of 5 and heats up water fairly quickly. It also stays hot for longer than my previous plastic sided electric tea kettle. This does mean that the metal gets hot too though, so if you have little kids at home I’d probably recommend a plastic one. You can’t beat the look of this kettle though, and if you’re already using a regular stovetop tea pot, then you’ll be used to being careful with it. I prefer electric so that my teenagers can boil water for Raman or oatmeal or whatever when I’m not home without me worrying about them forgetting to turn off the stove! This kettle ticks all the boxes, I just wish the manufacturer made other appliances to match like a toaster!Update: Unfortunately this kettle is all style and no substance. About 6 months after we bought it the copper accents around the temperature gauge started peeling; evidently it’s only copper foil attached to plastic rather than solid copper. Ten months after purchase is started leaking from the bottom seam. At first I thought my kids were constantly spilling on the counter, but then I realized the kettle had a slow but steady leak. This is very aggravating since the kettle didn’t even last a year and now has to be thrown away. For $55 dollars this is totally unacceptable! I’ve had $15 kettles last me for years. I’m very disappointed. Avoid!

The media could not be loaded. It’s a great kettle and aesthetically appealing. I’m sure it’s just makeup and lipstick, but it looks cool as long as you clean it with light cleaner it should hold up.The lid it came with was crap and super cheap. Hold onto your old kettles lid and just switch them out. Other than that I have no complaints and it is a really nice kettle. Boils quickly and does not have a whistle which I love!

Exactly as advertised. Heats water /tea quickly cleans up nicely and still looks brand new. Used 2-3 times daily for boiling water for tea, general cooking and disinfecting. Saves on time and is definitively worth every penny.I also love the look of the tea pot. Would and do recommend.
