The umbrella was packaged nicely and it arrived in great shape. It seems sturdy but we do get lots of wind so we will see. I am careful putting my umbrella down if windy conditions are coming. I bought from Amazon a 40# weighted bottom to hopefully keep it steady.I had the table so it was all set upIn minutes.

This umbrella is great for the price. I had to replace another one that was damaged in a wind storm. It fell and broke because it was made of plastic which I paid more money than this one. However I don’t know what kind of material the pole is made with but it’s strong and not plastic.

Very good quality . I’m using this one for two connected chairs that has a table for the umbrella but will be purchasing another one for my outdoor table as well
