The ones that have LH at the end of the description is left handed currently they have the 20 and 30 in both right and left handed. The one with LC at the end of the description is a right handed reel with a line counter.

Everyone has given you miss leading info. The size of the reel does not determi e so much of how big a fish you can catch with a reel. What determines what you can catch with a particular reel is what gears size and what material the gears are made with and also what rating the drag is capable of. Carbon fiber drag is best. Which this has. It also has ht100 drag system which excerts over 30lbs of big fish stopping power in all the models, even the smallest model. Paired with the right braided line weight these reels can handle anything you come across. Even including large sharks and big tuna. The gearing basics are simple, the lower the ratio is the more low end torgue the reel has to pull fish around with, but less speed of line retrival. So if you are fishing lures that need high speed action then choose a reel with higher gear ratio for speed. If fishing baits live or dead or slow speed lures then use a lower gear ratio so you gain much more torque and huge fish stopping power. Finally material used for components. This reel has a great material rating for its price range. Premium metals are used in the gear set. So it can take alot of abuse. It does use a light weight frame to keep weight down. So these reels are made to be versatile and light. Some people the cage not being made of metal is a weakness. I personally use these brand of reels and find this to be false. I use these for many type of fish species, ranging from 10ft tiger sharks (caught using the sql20lwlh paired with 50lb diamond braid). I like the 20lw for lightness but most other 20s have weak drags 12-20lbs not sufficient for large fish fights, but these reels are high drag with more then efficient frame strutcher for the drag they produce. With 30+ lbs of dragg any of the reels in this line can be light weight enough to take any were and ratios and powerful enough to catch anything you wish. So remember with this line all have powerful drag so pair the size of the reel with the amount of braided line you will need and the gear ratio for the type of fishing you plan to do and then go enjoy and have fun with catching some nice fish for years to come. Does this reel come with a penn rod clamp ?

The correct answer to this question is depends. If you buy a clam packaged reel (the reel comes in a plastic package) then the answer is no. If you buy the box version (  comes in penns factory cardboard box) of the reel then the answer us yes and you also get a quick tool to help with maintance of the reel. If you do not recieve a rod clamp with a box version then you have gotten an open box were some has either took it out or a used reel that some one jept the rod clamp. Penn always gives a rod clamp and service tool with all box reels out of the factory.

How far does the line come up per crank,

The amount will vary depending on how much line you have out. Look at the gear ratio to determine what you need. The 15,20, and 30 sizes are 4.9:1, meaning the spool turns 4.9 times for each one turn on the handle. The 50 size has a gear ratio of 4.0:1, so the spool will turn 4 times for each one turn of the handle. The larger the first number the faster line will retrieve. The amount retrieved per crank of the handle changes with how much is on the spool. The diameter of the line on the spool changes as you let line out. The distance around the line on the spool is the diameter of the line on the spool (D) times pi(3.14). If I'm bottom fishing in 400 feet of water with my 30LW and the line left on the spool has a 1" diameter, then when I start cranking up each turn of the handle will bring in D times pi times number of times spool turns per handle crank. So, that's 1 X 3.14 X 4.9 = 15.386 inches. As I crank more of my line back onto the spool I get a diameter of 2.25" on it bringing it up. This means I'll get more line on the spool for each crank of the handle 2.25 X 3.14 X 4.9 = 34.61 inches. For the same diameter of line on the spool, a lower number gear ratio will bring in less line per crank, but will give you cranking adavantage for muscling up a fish. A higher number gear ratio will be harder to crank to muscle up a fish, but you get more line per each crank of the handle.
