Excellent quality, trustworthy performance, very reliable. Been using eSUN multiple times, never failed to print well on first try with recommended temperature settings.

Welp folks, I've WANTED to hate eSUN. It's made in China... it's affordable (cheap)... it must be lousy, right? I want to hate this filament... but I don't. I love it. I've run prusament, sunhokey, hatchbox, polymaker, eSUN, and Filament PM. eSUN's PLA routinely is easier to print, no fuss, no clogging, no stringing, looks great. I use "stock generic PLA" settings (even though their various PLA's have different temp ranges depending on the specific filament) and it. just. works. Nearly every other PLA and PETG that I've run over the years has required some sort of tinkering, tuning, and calibrating to get the best results. For my MK3S clone, eSUN is the only stock basic PLA that routinely just loads and rocks in my printer without a big setup hassle. The results look great. I'm not saying eSUN is the best bargain PLA filament on the planet. But my MK3S clone printer does. Now with that said I've never tried any of eSUN's exotic stuff (wood, etc.) so I can't comment on that. But for bargain basic PLA, these guys are doing it for me.

I guess it all depends on user experience however I found this to be good filament. Yes, It is not as great as some bigger more expensive brands but I find this one to be my cheaper goto brand when I purchase filament. Prints came out great while everything was properly calibrated and yes, prints were messed up if filament was kept in a humid place, printer was not adjusted properly and stuff like that.

I love eSun filaments. I had high hopes for this clear filament. Unfortunately, it looks way more clear on the spool than it does after printing. It ends up very cloudy, and only vaguely translucent. Not what I was hoping for, but I'll probably find a use for it, just not the use I had originally.
