When I make a cup of tea for myself it's all about taking time to care for myself. I want the experience to be relaxing at every step. Those infuser spoons make me think of some medieval torture tool so that didn't work for me...too stressful. The ball and chain infusers always made a mess when I opened them up to clean...too irritating. I've had a glass cup infuser that burned my fingers....too painful. I've tried many tea brewing systems over the years and I am very pleased with this one.Here's why I like this infuser:The holes are a the right size for the tea I like to drink. I don't get tea leaves sitting on the bottom of my cup after a brew.The cover keeps my water hot while brewing and gives me a place to set my infuser so I don't drip tea all the way to the sink.The handles keep me from burning my fingers and I love that they sit on the edge of every mug or cup I have regardless of the size or shape.The infuser is big enough that it will hold enough tea so that I can brew the right strength for a pitcher of iced tea.Overall a well thought out design that considers all kinds of needs.I'm definitely happy.

Packaging was great, well worth the money I spent. Quality of the infuser was very good. I used it several times at work after I got it. I would place my loose tea inside and cover it and just place it in a ziplock bag and take it to work. I dont have to bring the whole bag of loose tea with me. The cap can be used to place the infuser after steeping the tea, so no spills. Deep enough to use in a large mug and the handles are wide enough to place in a wide mouth mug too. Highly recommend to everyone. My co worker who is a big tea drinker saw this and wanted to buy one for herself too.

This is a nice infuser that I needed because of the long handles. I have a wide-mouthed teapot and all my other infusers just fall into it. The handles are not 5 inches wide as the listing suggests though. They're 4 7/8 inches wide, which was just wide enough for my pot. But if you have a pot that is a full 5 inches wide, this probably won't fit. I'm giving this four stars instead of five because the basket itself is a little small and flimsy compared to my other infusers and the silicone handle covers slip right off in the dishpan (I use a Q-tip to dry out the insides thoroughly before putting them back onto the dried off infuser) but it does the job nicely.

I love the size. Sometimes with loose tea it's hard to get as much tea as you need inside a tea ball strainer. With this strainer you can get as much tea as you need inside, from enough for one cup to enough for a pot of tea. It's also fine meshed so you can use some of the fine grained teas. With the side handles you can put it on top of your cup of tea or a glass as I do. It seems to be made of good materials and should last a long time. Very satisfied.

Being new to the pleasures of loose tea, I was considering a more costly tea maker. I am glad I got this Live Infused instead! There isn't much room for storage in my kitchen, nor counter space, but this little gem stores inside my favorite mug. Aspects of it that I never knew I wanted but now love are the silicone tipped handles that keep it setting on the mug and the silicone lid which serves as a place to set the infuser while it still has tea leaves in it.

Love this so much! I went theough a few infusers before getting this one. I will never mess with others again and have sense bought a second one. I had some cheaply ikea ones that were terrible and let too much tea in the mug. I also had a much more expensive glass infused starter kit from teavana that, while nice, was inconvenient and hard to clean. This is great though and I highly recommend it. Only "con" is some loose leaf tea still comes through the holes but it's minimal and doesn't bother me.

I really love this infuser as no stray leaves find their way into my tea! The only thing I would recommend to shoppers is that the reservoir for leaves is quite large. It fit inside my mug just fine, but it almost seems as if it was made more to brew a whole pot at a time. I only sprinkle in enough leaves to cover maybe the bottom tenth of the cup and it's plenty to make a good, strong cup of Earl Grey.
