Perfect gift for a Tolkien Nerd
These arrived and are a decent weight. They'll be a fun addition to hold the Tolkien books in place.

Very cool looking
Our local theater ran the LOR trilogy on the big screen recently. My daughter and I love the movies, and when I saw these available, I bought them for her birthday. They look really neat. The picture is accurate regarding what the book ends can support. They are not very heavy, so only lighter books can be used with them.

Smaller than expected but good quaity
Smaller than I expected, but very nicely detailed and good quality. If you're planning on supporting heavier books, get some regular metal bookends for support and use these for decoration. I have a large (8 1/2 x 11) hardcover copy of the Silmarillion that I keep with my paperback copies of The Hobbit, Lord Of The Rings, and Unfinished Tales that needs the extra support (or maybe I just need a paperback Silmarillion to balance things out)

Nothing like the pictures, poor quality, & too small/light
They look nothing like the photos. Every picture is misleading, both with size and how they look. They are also not weighted or large enough to be book ends. I put one on the end of my books and it fell and the hand snapped off. Within minutes of opening. You can tell they are 3D printed and have none of the detail in the photos. Extremely disappointed. Definitely not worth the price.

It depends on WHY you want them.
I bought these specifically because I needed book ends. The bonus was finding them in such a cool style. They’re darker than what’s pictured and they’d look better if someone added shading or detail to them. My grief is based more on the fact that they’re so small and so light I’m not sure how they’d hold anything up short of it being pocket journal sized. There’s no anchor point on the base to give them leverage to stay upright and they strike me as fragile. I really like the design but it doesn’t work well for what I purchased it for. They’re better off being considered decorations than book ends, especially for the cost.

Got this as a gift
My son loves these. They a a bit smaller than I thought they would be but that's my fault for not reading the dimensions but they are heavy and sturdy. They look great in his office.

Small But Cool
Multiple reviews mention that these bookends are on the small side and don't work well as bookends for hardcover / heavier books. While that is true, they are still nicely detailed and make cool movie memorabilia items if you are an LOTR fan. I'm using them on my DVD shelves - they look great and work perfectly as light-duty bookends.
