If you want to change out the light bulb you need to unscrew two screws to remove the top or bottom plate to change them out (1 bulb on top, 1 bulb on bottom). The wires are what you would expect in a cheap plastic toy. I would recommend getting bulbs that are 'warm' instead of 'bright' or daylight as they can be very bright at night. The instructions should be re-written since they use 'firstly' and 'earth' wire for ground wire as well as "Install the explosion... corresponding position of the post". Once they are up they look nice but I don't think they will last (time will tell). I wouldn't buy again just because to replace the bulbs is crazy and the wiring is a bit on the cheap side.

These lights are very bright and very decorative. My electrician said that they were easy to install and I have received many compliments on how great they look. Even better, they light everything that were previously hidden with the old lights.

While the light from your installed bulbs (not included) shines through the upper and lower clear plastic windows it really does not provide a true focused beam as you would expect from most fixtures advertised as an up/down light. Unless maybe if you were to use a reflector spot bulb but then you would not get any light to the front of the fixture through the horizontal windows.

I don't like it. Very difficult will be to open and replace a bulb after installed. I returned back. Very flamzy and giving some noise from glass. Looks like not good sealed glass
