Keeps ice cold for longer. It may be a little more expensive than other coolers but I think you'll save in the very long run in costs for ice.

Outdoor temperatures 100+ degrees we were looking for a large cooler to keep our Sangria cold at a tailgate. Our requirements 1. Hold about 5 gallons of Sangria; 2. Keep beverage cold; and 3. Spout works and doesn't drip/leak. This cooler delivered! We followed suggested directions on cooling down the cooler. There were 3 different ways, we chose to buy a 20 pound bag of ice, fill cooler with ice over night and the next day we removed the ice and filled it with chilled and iced Sangria. Hubby also bought 4 "tourit reuseable ice bags". I filled up the bags with Sangria, placed in freezer and the remaining Sangria, I placed back into several gallon jugs, refrigerated them. I don't know how many times the spout was used, but over half the Sangria was consumed and the spout did not and does not drip or leak.

I love everything about this cooler. I got it for fishing trips and contract work.Spout works great. As the water level lowers you may have to open the lid to let pressure out. It can cause slow water release, but acceptable. It keeps eater cool for 4 days. Its the perfect hight for a seat.If your complaining about the weight. Read the provided specs and it plainly states the weight. I have no complaints. I'm going to buy a few more for gifts.

This thing is super heavy without liquid. I am most disappointed with the super slow trickle of the water that comes out. It’s almost unusable and I expect way better for the amount of money this thing costs. Will be returning.

Love the cooler, Spout leaks horribly, hoping to be able to find one that will fix that. More $$. Cannot carry inside or will water soak stuff. Hoping they’ll send an improved spout to fix problem.
