Japanese curry powder
Really love this . Gives the taste of Katsu curry I crave sometimes . Keep it in the packet in a jar in the fridge. May go lumpy in time in the packet but just crush with a spoon ,it's well worth it for the taste ,nice to find something vegan .

This is a fabulous mix for Japanese style katsu , not too spicy and is very tasty too , I didn't have any reaction after eating this ( I have coeliac disease) a bit more expensive but it's worth it , very easy to use and it has great quality, it's not something I would buy weekly but it is value for money as you get more than one serving

Hooray for gluten free curry!
I love this curry packet, and it’s become a real staple in our cooking routines. So lucky to have found a gluten free Japanese curry roux! It’s saved me a ton of time, and the taste is great! I do wish there was a spicier version, but it’s easy enough to make spicier. I use it the same way as the regular curry blocks, and it’s delicious. Recommended!

A great alternative to spicy curry roux blocks
I bought this to make a Japanese beef curry recipe in the NYT. Their recipe used curry roux blocs and one on how to make these blocks. I wasn't going to do that, so I checked Amazon. There were no blocks, but there was this. I ordered this one 'cause it came from Japan. I had to guess how much to use since I made a much reduced version for one and used two heaping tablespoons for 6oz. of beef, and that worked out very well. It was medium spicy, had a little kick to it.

Best Gluten-Free Curry
This makes a really yummy curry, even better than gluten-containing curry cubes. It’s made with high quality ingredients that are a lot better for you, too. Some say it’s too pricey but I think this packet is more than worth the price. It’s my favorite curry, and I’m a repeat buyer.
