27.5 inch Mavic/Shimano Mountain Bike ATB Wheels Disc Brake Black Wheel Set with Continental Race King Tires and Tubes!

I have a Schwinn Santis that had 29 inch wheels . The original wheels on the bike were WTB 29ers with some kind of real cheep hubs and a Chinese made with china 14-28 cassette . The OE front wheel was a quick release and the back wheel was a bolt on . I was not a fan of those monster truck tires just too tall for my tastes . I was not sure if these would work but I am happy to report that now I have QR on both wheels ! these fit like a glove and the QR skewers are beefy , much more so then the original one on the front The Shimano hubs are way nicer then what I had . I checked the new hubs and they are well greased just a touch too tight as they were kind rough , once re-torqued was just fine A interesting note is that on the box I received it said Made in Taiwan ! Not some China cheep stuff and real nice set of wheels . Mine was true out of the box with no loose spokes I cant comment much on the tires because I am still waiting on my new Shimano cassette to arrive but they do look good . Weight wise these are pretty light , lighter then the WTB 29ers that came on the bike So to cap it off if You are looking to upgrade to all quick release on a Schwinn santis these will work

This is a pretty good wheel set. Not top notch but a decent deal with the tires. The tires are better than I expected. Good traction. Tread is a little tight and has a tendency to pick and throw small rocks and debris. Definitely not a Maxxis. I waned to switch my 26” over 27.5”. I did a lot of research that said it would work fine. I was skeptical about it working on my old Rock Mountain so I asked for measurements. The measurements they sent me were pretty tight but would work. Still skeptical. Ordered anyway. Front forks just barely cleared. Rear didn’t. I had to manufacture adapter brackets for for both the wheel and disc brake caliper but she’s rolling great now!

Straight and true out of the box. Cones in the hubs did not feel overly tight as can be the case with these lower end shimano hubs. Had the disks and cassette on in minutes.Fit perfectly in my 26" Wheeled Trek 3 series disc frame with an upgraded 27.5 epixon fork. Adds some noticeable roll over ability to small bumps vs. the 26ers.Have not had any off road time on them yet to see how the tires grip. Definitely look like they are designed to be fast rolling XC tires so not anticipating grip like the minions on my trail bike but they should do the job as a back up bike to share with friends.Eventually will see if I can get them set-up tubeless but that could be awhile.

Excellent wheels for my four year old 29" Diamondback. Yes, I replaced the factory wheels on a 29" bike with these 27.5" wheels. I've never been 100% comfortable on this bike. It's always been awkward to get on, and I've always felt like there was too much bike under me. I don't think I'm really quite tall enough for a 29" bike, but I just couldn't pass up the price when I saw this badboy on sale in 2014. Having replaced the wheels with a slightly smaller size has made a world of difference on how things feel as well as how things look. Riding feels much more stable and things are certainly more comfortable. Very affordable. The wheels came completely true outta the box, they look great, and they ride awesome!

Before I begin writing my whole review, I just want to let future customers know that I have only had these wheels for a day and this is only conveying my first impression of the product. This is an EXTREMELY worthwhile purchase and bang for the buck. Package arrived a day earlier than the soonest possible arrival date and everything was well packaged. When the wheels arrived, the rim strips, tubes and tyres were already installed and ready to be pumped up, be sufficiently inspected for any truing that might be necessary and get rolling. These are double walled rims with a presta valve system. The hubs roll smooth and feel plush. So far, I am extremely pleased with my experience with this product and the seller and will be returning to do some follow up after some riding.

Upgraded my 26" bike fork with a new 27.5" fork. Added these set of wheels and tires and what a difference. Worked really well for me. Changing out the rear wheel gears from the old wheel to the new wheel was the hardest part, and that was easy. After that, all I had to do was inflate the tires and ride off. The wheels came with the tires already mounted and the wheels were already trued. If you're looking for a great set of wheels and tires for a very reasonable price, these are them.Very satisfied!!

I love the wheelset for the money. Strong and reliable but I had to repack the hubs when I got them. Rough rolling out of the box but a quick bearing repack and all is good. Rolls smooth and fast now, decent tires with Mavic and Shimano strength,GREAT Buy! You can't go wrong with this wheelset.

I used these to replace the stock tires on my 2018 Kona Splice. They fit perfectly!!! These wheels roll very smoothly and the tires have excellent grip. I got a lot of compliments on the look and quality of the set from the group I ride with, and they performed very well on the trail, too.
