Brilliant product! All had a sticky piece on the back which you simply peel off and then attach the slider to the object you want. It's made moving the settee (3 seater) easy and I can do it on my own now without needing help. We tried two other brands which got sent back as some had sticky pieces missing and others peeled off the object within a day. Not these, very good product.

We bought these glides for a desk chair that sits on carpet and the chair seems to get some movement over the course of the day. The glides work really well and it easy to slide the chair in and out from the desk as opposed to lifting the chair each time you raise - we were also worried about the friction wearing the carpet bare. However, the adhesive is not very strong and the glides came unstuck after only a short time. Fortunately we had some Unibond No More Nails that we purchased for another task and this made a better attachment though still not permanent. There is obviously a lot of force on such a small area. We have enough No More Nails to secure the glides again but are also considering Loctite Superglue Gel which is recommended for gluing plastic and wood.

I find these so handy and easy to put on furniture, especially chairs which are in constant use (no squeaky noises) .

Excellent product would recommend

These are tiny - think chocolate button size - you get loads and they seem good quality and would be perfect for moving...dolls house furnature. We gave three stars because we've never laughed so hard!

Worked well for me. Can be used on carpets and hard floors.

More effective for smaller items

These 25mm furniture glides come supplied in a small box with double sided sticky pads. They are simple to use and apply and once left for 24 hours seem to remain firmly in place. Chairs glide across the floor and carpet without scratching or catching.
