Very effective for rosacea spots
Really pleased with this cream. This is the second time I have bought it. I have suffered for years with rosacea with small white head pimples. I've tried many kinds of skin care but this is by far the best I've used. Within a few applications all spots had gone. Skin feels softer and no bumps!! My skin is still red (although it is much less angry) but I can live with that. Overall I would recommend if anyone has the same symptoms

Game changer for my rosacia
I've been suffering with rosacia for around 3 years. It's eased over time, to a point where I was just struggling with redness, purpling and spots on my nose with regular flare-ups. My skin care routine was basic (washing face in shower then using an SPF moisturiser). I decided to try azelaic acid 10%; helped a lot but just not quite enough. That's when I decided to try the dermatica. At the same time, I changed my whole face care routine, introduced a derma cleanser, dermatica and aveeno calm and restore SPF moisturiser. I've now been following this routine for 6 weeks and for me, the improvements have been brilliant! Within that 6 weeks, I've had the odd small spot on my nose, but no flare ups at all! Over time, I've also started using it on my cheeks and forehead. The dermatica cream itself is light and gives my face a really soft feel, whilst absorbing really quickly. You only need a very small amount. Tingled quite a bit at first, but that's calmed down over the time I've been using it. For me it's definitely helped my rosacia symptoms and I'm hoping that as I continue to use it, the symptoms will disappear altogether.

Decent but not favourite
It is overall good. I can definitely say the formulation is pleasant to ise and it is lightweight and easy to spread on the face. However the smell bothers me (although its gone fairly wuickly after I apply moisturiser. I feel like it is not working as good as Skinoren, yes my pores remain clean (but not as clean as before-I moved to this after finishing skinoren tube), but dark spots are not changing at all. I feel like thicker formula whilst not wearable under makeup was sticking better to my skin and therefore give better effect. I am convinced if you didnt use azelaic acid before this will be helpful. I wanted to love this but I will probably not buy again after finishing this bottle.

Stay consistent it works
Bought this product to help with brightening my neck and jawline from years of dark marks due to ingrown hairs (PCOS). Noticed results after weeks of consistent use. Have purchased this product 3 times and I’m so happy

Brilliant!!! Don’t hesitate to buy!
This has literally saved my face! I started with the 15% azelaic acid and gradually worked my way up to the 20%, and it’s been amazing seeing how far my skin has come. It has effectively cleared the majority of my spots and made such a noticeable difference to my skin. One thing I’d definitely recommend is keeping your skin well moisturised and always using sunscreen alongside it. I personally use La Roche-Posay sunscreen, which has worked really well for me. I’m so happy with my results.Thank you, Dermatica! ❤️

Still up for debate
Itches like crazy if applied at night, but only a slight irritation if applied in the mornings! Have noticed a small reduction in redness.

Will buy again
I didn’t hold out much hope that something ‘over the counter’ would work but it definitely did. I saw an improvement very quickly. It does sting and itch a bit when i first apply it but that’s a small price to pay.

Not as good as Skinoren
Unfortunately this didn’t work well for me at all. I bought it as an alternative to Skinoren, which I’ve used successfully for hormonal acne, but this formulation was nowhere near as effective and was incredibly irritating on my skin. Every application caused intense itching — not just mild tingling, but genuinely uncomfortable to the point where I wanted to scratch my face off. The itching resolved almost immediately after washing it off, so I suspect it’s the formulation/vehicle rather than azelaic acid itself. Sadly had to stop using it and throw it away. If you have sensitive or reactive skin, definitely patch test first.
