RubWise Texas Hickory BBQ Rub, Smoky Rib Rub & Pork Butt Seasoning, 1 lb

I have 20 bottles I’ve purchased of rubs like this over the years. This is one of the best. This imparts the smoky flavor smoking meats do without the possible kidney cancer risk smoking and grilling does. I’ve heard powdered smoke and liquid smoke are much healthier. I put it on ribs, wrap them in foil and bake at 425 for 2 hours and then brush on some sauce and throw them on the grill. I’ve had friends and family eat 1 1/2 lbs of ribs in a sitting! Probably has too much salt for those with blood pressure issues but otherwise very tasty.

i've tried different BBQ rubs, so far this one is my favorite. i used the rub on chicken drum sticks and thighs. gave the chicken one coat, let it sit for 15mins, then applied a second coat. place the chicken in my weber which was set up for smoking. the chicken came out full of flavor, the brown sugar gave it just enough sweetness and a great color. highly recommend it, will definitely buy it again.

This had the perfect flavor I was looking for and not overly salty. Only complaint is it was clumpy and to break it up a lot.

I used this rub on beef and pork pieces that went into a Brasilian bean dish called "feijoada". It made the meat taste smoked. Everybody who ate it was delighted with the flavor, and so was I! This is a good product and it stretches a long way.

Good flavor, terrible packaging. Arrived as brick from absorbed moisture. Have ordered dozens of times. Used to arrive loose. Now always a brick. Fix the packaging.
