The counter space next to my stove is limited, making it a problem of "where do I put the lid when I need to remove it to stir or add something to the pot". The Sleepyspoon Rest and lid holder solves this problem beautifully. It's sturdy enough to hold my large pasta pot lid as well as smaller lids. Be aware that it does not work well with lids that have thick edges (lips) -- see the pictures on their listing for examples.I also love that it can double as a cell phone or sponge holder when I'm not cooking!

I love it! I bought grey. Holds our lids and fits our compact apartment oven top. The grooves to hold utensils holds our spatulas and spoons great.

This product has been very handy. Because I have laminate countertops, I am not able to place hot items directly on the surface of the counter. Therefore, I am always searching for a place to put hot lids while cooking. This spoon rest does an excellent job of holding a lid. I do wish the slots for utensils was a bit deeper, but the spoon rest surface is wide enough to hold more than one spoon, spatula, whatever. Cleans easily. I will be buying a another one when I return to our second home this winter.

The quality of this product is good. The little blue guy is cute and it really does work amazingly, also it does hold up your pan lid and the quality of the spoon holder is good as well. I really do recommend this product.

The over all stability of this spoon rest is just ok. It isn't heavy so it can slide and be knocked over. The plastic it's made out of is easy to.clean and difficult to stain.

I like it for light weight lids but it will not work with Magnalite lids.

It’s design makes it a hard product to screw up and fortunately they didn’t. Very simple. Comes in two pieces that snap together. It is possible to pull the two halves apart again if needed. I probably wouldn’t do it every day though. Once snapped together, the pieces are firmly attached with no wiggle or concern about it coming apart. The lid in the picture is small but I’m sure it could hold much larger ones without issue. The product as a whole is actually a bit smaller than expected. It can just barely fit my utensils. That actually makes it the perfect size though since I didn’t want to unnecessarily waste counter space. Also, since it’s just plastic with no interior cavities, I imagine it might survive a dishwasher just fine assuming there’s no concern of melting. My only complaints are that you can see two burrs (presumedly) from the molding process and there’s a slight waviness to the vertical member (which is visible in the product photo on Amazon)For the price, it does the job as expected.

The best feature of this is the lid holding capability. I always used to sit the lid on the counter but now I just use Sleepy Spoon. And the multiple slots for spoons makes this a nicely planned out kitchen tool. Great tool for a great price!
