I hung these awesome, little lights on my daughter's ceiling to give the illusion of a starry night. Make no mistake these little beauties are 'bright' when they need to be but give off a soft, warm glow when not a lot of light is needed. The remote is great! It has several different modes which my daughter loves. I've never had an issue with the remote not working or needing to be close to the light. Of course there is a sensor near the plug that needs to configure with the sensor on the remote to work. Just make sure neither sensor is obstructed. Yes, the copper wire is very thin but I like that. The wire is hardly noticeable on my daughter's ceiling. As for the wire getting tangled......it was rolled up neatly and as long as I was careful and slow I didn't have an issue hanging these lights on the ceiling. I would absolutely buy these again. They are beautiful!

4 stars only because I'm not sure of the longevity. But I received my items on time, as guaranteed and they all work so far. I love the fact that they can be turned off with the remote, as my daughter forgets to turn things off. They'll be in her Paris themed room.

Cool lights but very fragile. Mine stopped working, just outside of the return period.

fun to have - but a challenge to install - issues with tangling

I ordered this for our Christmas yard display as power lines on a power pole. With the adjustable settings, I put one on solid, and the second on flickering, like there was a short in the line. Then I added a Tree Climber Sculpture of a squirrel and cat (also bought on Amazon) to give the affect of the two to fix the line. It all came out great; even dad's use of medicine bottles for insulators. Once you set the mode on the light, it will remain in that mode, even after turned off and back on. Absolutely good for outdoor use. It poured 3 days and these lights worked flawlessly. I recommend.

I bought these expecting bigger lights like rope lights. No where on the description does it say what size the lights are. I will keep them but I won't buy them again

looks great but remote has to use very close to the sensor.

great lights. they are really long so be careful when unloosing them. I got them really tangled up but thats my fault, any way i love the control it has many settings. I recommened buying stick on hooks to hang them. love them great quality
