I have insomnia and it’s very hard for me to fall asleep. I need to drown out as much noise as possible. I’ve tried many different brands & types of earplugs and I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s not worth spending too much $ on an expensive pair because none are really very spectacular, imho. So my review is based on quality, effectiveness and cost for what I perceive to be average/slightly above average earplugs. I usually pay $4-$5 for 5 pair (10 total) w a plastic case included. It’d have been nice for this bulk 50-pair of individually wrapped black earplugs to come w a case but it’s not a big deal. (If you prefer the case there is an option for the same price that comes w one but they’re not individually wrapped.) They’re definitely worth the cost. This is a great deal and will last me a long time. I change mine out on a weekly basis but they can be washed and re-used if you’re so inclined to clean them. I like that I can keep a new pair here and there, in various bags, because they’re individually wrapped. It sure beats keeping one pair in the plastic case and making sure to put them in whatever purse/bag I’m currently using. These are your basic size and length, w no curve on the sides-as some have. Make sure to roll them nice and thin before inserting but don’t push them in too far or else they might take a good tug to get them out and may be momentarily uncomfortable. (This can happen w all earplugs when you get a really tight seal. Repeated really tight seals can lead to soreness.) Be patient and wait for them to fully expand. They work good to drown out noise in surrounding rooms and even my tv when on low. Surprisingly I can barely hear my deep barking dog when she alerts someone is at the door. So far, I’m really pleased w these earplugs and would not only buy them again but recommend them to others. They’re a great deal and work as well as some others that are way more expensive. I’ll update to their longevity in a few months.

Soft and work good to muffle loud noise

this is the 3rd or 4th time i have ordered these plugs. they work well when new and i can usually get a couple uses out of each pair. better price than the local stores and they are cheap enough to just use once and dispose. work well for sleeping in a noisy environment or for things like concerts. have also used them at the range and they provide great protection, much more comfortable than ear muffs.

Good earplugs. I would just suggest to the manufacturer that the Instructions be printed as clear (or black) lettering on a white background, to make it stand out. If it is white text on a clear baggie, it is harder to read, and sometimes people don’t even notice it. Also, it should say ‘instruction for proper use’ in bold on top. Otherwise, people sometimes just stuff them into their ears without rolling first, and it doesn’t give as much protection or falls out. You may need to make the baggies slightly larger to have enough space.

Works well for night noise for the wife

They have instructions on how to use them on each package. I have used them wrong all these years! Comfort is great, they fit perfectly and they are soft!

Yes, the stay in place and are comfortable.

easily portable. reusable (within reason.) blocks ambient noise well and leaves conversational voice understandable. they mold really well and don't unsquish before you get them in your ear. they're a bit long to put fully inside your ears but if you put them in and wait for them to expand they stay well. i like that when you let them expand, sound gradually dampens and it's a gentle decline of decibels.

As someone who lives alone, you’d think my apartment would be peaceful. You’d be wrong. Between the upstairs tap dancer (unconfirmed, but highly suspected) and the guy next door who must be training for a competitive spitting championship… I needed a solution. These earplugs? Life-changing. I insert them and enter a glorious dimension where sleep is real. They’re soft, squishy, and block out everything except my own thoughts, and even those are muffled now, which is honestly kind of nice.
