Most children’s rod and reel combos are crap. I bought a decent Mr Crappie rod for my son to use, and while the rod is fantastic, the reels wore out quickly. As I have good experience with the new 33s, I figured that this little reel would do the trick. Operates smoothly, casts like a dream and is easy for a 5-6 year old to handle. The line it comes with is ok. Everyone has their preferred brands, and I suggest respooling with fresh 2-4lb test sooner rather than later. These metal bodied Zebcos can take a beating, I recommend them heartily.

It hasn't worked right since day one . I just forgot to say anything about it to you guys. Every time I cast my pole it cuts my line I've used 3 different kinds of line even braided line an it cut it like a knife through butter. An it really upsetting 😡. Cause it's my 1st yr to get outdoors due my passed illness. I wasn't able to use them till now. I really hope 🙏 pray that you guys can find it in your hearts to just replace it that's all I ask. I'm lucky to even be a live today. I beat the disease of addiction going on 4yrs sober I love my life and being able to do the things I couldn't before. God bless me with a 2nd chance of life.

On the third cast the back cap and thumb bar exploded. This reel is junk. Don’t waste your money. All plastic and fell apart within 10 minutes.

I can't say I've tried them all but have definitely tried quite a few low cost inexpensive spincast reels and this one lasted a LONG time and always worked great! It is great for kids but if you're an adult, like spincast reels, and have wrist issues and want to keep things as light as possible this is also a great reel for that. Only issue with this reel is the drag function. Not too hot :( But you shouldn't need it for panfish anyway so no biggie

I bought this as a replacement for my son's 4' fishing pole. It works perfectly with a smooth action! So far we have caught plenty of blue gill, a few little bass and a catfish on it. Would recommend! Note: the first one I ordered literally popped apart almost immediately after I received it. Amazon quickly sent a replacement and the replacement works great! Update 11/24/24 - The reel got massively tangled up outside the spool, but inside the cover. Unfortunately this ruined a night of fishing for my son. Review updated to 4 stars.

Very good casting reel,no tangle! Very good price,easy to use! I had a problem changing line tho,it took a while to out smart the reel but I got it done! Now its easy once you figure it out ,no instruction on that! Only problem I had with the reel ,love it!

Bought for my 11 year old grandson to stop his constant tangles a taffles from an open spool reel. He loves it!

Natürlich keine Materialien wie bei einer 100€ Rolle, aber sie ist leicht und funktioniert reibungslos, deshalb, für den den gerne mal eine solche Spincast Rolle probieren möchte macht hier nichts falsch
