Perfect Induction Cookware Set!
So we replaced our gas range with an induction range and we needed all new cookware. I’m the type of buyer who does my research and after comparing 6 different pot and pan sets (weight, price, reviews, pieces in set, ply) I finally settled on these, and I am very happy I did! First, they work perfectly on our induction cooktop. No issues at all. Sometimes they do make a noise (subtle clicking) when heating but this is something you get used to with induction. The pans heat quickly and evenly. No hot spots. The pans are well made with riveted metal handles so are oven safe. Nice feature when finishing something in oven. The pans clean up beautifully. Sometimes I may need to use a little Bar Keepers Friend and some elbow grease, but the results are beautiful and I much prefer this to dealing with nonstick. I also really like the glass lids—something my old set had and I wanted with my new set. The only downside (if you can call it that) is that because they are a quality weight pan, they can be heavy, especially when full. Just something to keep in mind if your hand or wrist strength is an issue. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this set and would recommend them to anyone looking for an induction ready cookware set!

Love these pots and pans
These pots and pans are absolutely beautiful, great quality and easy to use for cooking a variety of things. The heating is consistent and I use silicone and wooden utensils to keep the pans scratch free. From stove top to oven make them versatile. These products are build to last.

Well worth the money
I absolutely love this set. I love to cook and believe in having the right tool for every job. These are perfect. Some may say they are heavy, but that’s what you get when you want consistent heat. The construction is solid and the quality is excellent. The deep sauté pan is extremely versatile and is definitely my go to. I’ve cooked with stainless steel for a long time, it is definitely something you have to practice. The pots not hit until the water dances. It’s called the Leidenfrost effect and happens around 400 degrees. Anything hotter or colder can stick and create problems. My pans have a little white on them after washing, don’t worry, that’s just from mineral deposits from hard water, it’s fine. I’ve always wanted to upgrade, but thought I couldn’t afford it, these made that possible for me, thank you.

Good quality and price
These pots are great. Heavy and good quality. But beware, the instructions advise you not to put them on a burner over medium or discoloration will Occur. Definitely has bc my husband never remembers and has boiled water or high, but it’s not so bad. Weird restriction for cooking pots, but ok.

Made in China
If you ask Rufus, he will tell you that these are stamped as “Made in Brazil,” but guess what, it’s made in China. I tried to research these as best I could since they are so expensive. During that research, I found there are two places these are made- and generally the Brazil version is considered the luxury ones, while the Chinese version is considered less so. Would have been nice for that information to just be part of the listing, or for the AI assistant to know. Anyways, these are indeed nice, regardless of where they were made. They are stainless steel, and if you aren’t familiar with using stainless steel cookware, you may not know you need to preheat the pan first. I wasn’t prepared for cleaning these though, and I do need something more abrasive than a sponge/scrubber. They do get a patina very fast, and maybe that’s because I’m new to stainless steel pans. They are very shiny and beautiful, it’s easy to discolor them though. The handle is super nice too. I had read a review somewhere saying the handles get hot with the pan but I haven’t experienced that myself. Also, I had read reviews saying the base of the frying pan is too small, but I don’t agree with that. The pan size is fine.

Love at first cook!
I received this Tramontina stainless steel pots and pans set for Christmas from my husband, and wow — I am beyond impressed! Not only do they look absolutely stunning and give my kitchen a true chef’s-kitchen vibe, but they also perform beautifully. I practically live in the kitchen and cook all the time, so I’m very picky about my cookware. My must-haves are simple: they need to last, not stick, have handles that don’t get too hot, lids that fit perfectly, and be easy to clean. These check every single box. The quality is outstanding, the fit and finish are excellent, and cleanup is a breeze. As long as you follow the care instructions, these pans will treat you very well. I couldn’t be happier with this set and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves to cook as much as I do!

Off to a Bad Start
Updated 4/21/23 Downgraded to one star. Deeply sorry I made this purchase. Tramontina support has been abominable. Weeks and weeks go between responses, and subsequent responses don't factor in previous responses. After four months, (4!) they now tell me that to get a replacement lid I need to go through Amazon. But the Amazon website tells me to contact the manufacturer. If you think that responsive customer support is something you deserve, don't do business with Tramontina. Either they don't get it, or their infrastructure is not very good. Original review (2 stars) Despite the rave reviews, I'm having a different experience. First, on the positive side: * These cook pretty well. Heat distribution is good. * Properly preheating and applying a thin coat of fat will result in food not sticking to the pan most of the time. Yes, even scrambled eggs. * They look very nice when new. Unfortunately, the bulk of my experience has not been so good. For openers, the shipping carton was in perfect condition and everything inside the box was packed correctly. Despite that, the rim on one of the lids was bent. I didn't see that as Amazon's responsibility, so I didn't burden them with a return and a reorder, reasoning that Tramontina would take care of the issue under warranty. HUGE mistake to assume good will on the part of the manufacturer. Three weeks later, I still don't even have a coherent response to my warranty claim. I provided them with a copy of my purchase receipt and a photo of the damaged lid, and today I got an email with a two word message, "Please proceed," What the heck does that mean? I replied to that and asked what that was supposed to mean. They told me that I should process a return with Amazon because they don't have that lid in stock and it will be at least two months before they have one. Except that I'm now outside the return window. This ought to be interesting... Second, after the return window had closed, the pans are starting to produce white spots on the bottom inside. Clearly, the stainless steel is "bleeding" something. Will it end? It can be removed with Bar Keeper's Friend, but is that required EVERY time I use the pan? So far, yes. Third, yes, Bar Keeper's Friend will remove any stubborn stain. But it turns out that every time you boil water, you will have mineral deposits that require BKF to remove. Try cooking popcorn. Properly warm up the pan, and then add your oil. Cook your popcorn and enjoy. When it comes time to clean the pan you will realize that there is a very stubborn stain of oil splatter up the side of the pan that requires HEAVY scrubbing with BKF to remove. Fourth, some pans from other vendors provide a rim designed to make it easy to pour liquid out of the pan with minimal dripping. I wish I had taken that feature more seriously- these pans dribble *every* time you pour liquid out of them. Overall, despite the positive points above, I am deeply disappointed and would not buy these again.

Beautiful cookware I wish we had bought sooner
This is BEAUTIFUL stuff. We went from a gas range to an induction range, so my beloved 30+ years old but going strong RevereWare (actually US made) no longer worked. I don't miss it. The Tramontina set is wonderfully heavy (not in a bad way), exuding quality. Cooking in it, the first thing I noticed was that food stays warmer longer once cooking is done. If you're familiar with induction, the stove doesn't stay hot, the pan has to. These heat up quickly and evenly, and cook everything in a very predictable way. The lids fit securely. Like all utensils with metal handles, you do have to be careful lifting a hot, metal-handled lid. Other brands may and do cost more, but this is an investment that we're thrilled with, and don't think we could have gotten a better set by spending more.

Incredible, will come back for more.
I just received it, and this is the nicest cookware set I’ve ever owned. It looks beautiful, and you can immediately tell it’s well made. WOW. I don’t think I’ll come back to revise this review, because stainless steel is metal after all; It scratches when it comes into contact with other metal, food can stick, and it can get dull over time. All I have to do is follow the instructions, clean it back to its former glory, and be patient with it.

Amazing Cookware Set!
Recieved the 12-piece set and was shaocked by the high quality look and feel. There is some serious solid weight to the pots and pans that make them feel very high quality, and they are! First meal ended up using three pieces, one for pan to oven chicken breast, another for tomatoe based sauce, and another for boiling pasta. Every piece performed incredibly! Clean up was a breeze. I was concerned with cleaning the frying pan that was used for the chicken, but it cleaned up like new. I used a bit of barkeepers friend to make it really shine, but it wasnt really needed. I would 100% recommend these pots and pans! I am an avid home cook and these are the best pots and pans I have ever used! You will not be dissapointed!
