I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my husband and he absolutely loves it! Yes, it is a "you get what you pay for" product in that the console and controllers are both made from light weight plastic and probably would not hold up to heavy or intense game play for an extended time period. However, it was perfect for us as it allowed us to revisit the fun we had playing these games as kids. I think that if you are a hard core gamer this might not be the right fit for you but if you are looking for a gift to give (to yourself or someone else) then this is a great choice 😉*You will need to purchase an AV to HDMI converter if you only have a Smart TV however I found one that was under $10.00 and it works great!*

Overall great little console!! Has more games than one can keep up with, graphics are as expected for a mock NES.The only negative thing we experienced was that after only a month of use the RCA cables began to give out and the volume/sound was the first to completely quit working. Normally I would just replace with one of the many PRB or RCA cables I have lying around, but none of mine would work with the console. I tried to look up compatible replacement cords on Amazon but had no solid luck in finding any. I also didn't have a way of contacting the seller to try to directly purchase a replacement from them. I reached out to Amazon and did receive some help through their customer service.All in all this was a perfect little birthday gift for our 6 year old that they absolutely love!

I went back and forth buying this. As an original old school gamer that started in the 80's on a Tandy......all those under 40 won't get it......I wanted to get my niece and nephew a gaming system that was simple, but good and fun. I need to get them hooked on games! :) The reviews scared me off for months. "It's not exactly the same" and "it's a cheap copy" and so on.Take it from me. It's cheap? Yes.Are the games EXACTLY as they would be on the original Nintendo or like system? Not entirely.Has it been completely fun and awesome for my 8 and 10 year old niece and nephew? I'm happy to say YES!!!!!! They play it every night before bed and the giggles, laughs, yells and just good times had were WELL worth the money spent. Even sis and brother in law love it and they all spend some family time laughing and playing games together.If you're a hard core gamer then pony up and buy an original Nintendo and quit writing bad reviews. If you are a mom and want to start your kids out with a good, cheap, simple gaming system? Do it and don't look back.I don't expect it to last more than a year honestly because the controllers are pretty cheap....but for the cost? I'll buy them another one next year or graduate them to a bigger better system.Well worth the money in a world of hugely expensive gaming system. The games are great and half of them I can't tell any different from the originals! Very happy with the purchase.

Fun to play and love it from a nostalgia standpoint, but the controls have very delayed response- they've also very light. It definitely isn't the original, but if you're looking for a fun walk down memory lane with your kiddos. It fits the bill.

The controller response isn't 100% but what I paid for it, I get it. The graphics are decades old so when played on a large TV, the clarity is not there.

Brings back memories and my 3yr old loves it because it’s simple for him to use! The 600 games are a bit much and wish it was a way to go to the exact game you want without scrolling through them but definitely nice not having to deal with cartridges!

Disappointed that the total list of games was inaccurate. I saw the Tecmo Bowl title thought it was football and instead was a bowling game. Try to play 1st and 10 and could only move left and right. The controller doesn't have the best response time.
