Great for DIY bicycle chain wax mix
My first attempt at DIY chain waxing worked great. 500g of base cosmetic grade Paraffin Wax, 5g of this MoS2 and 5g of PTFE. Outstanding. Great for six months until my pot was running low. My second blend with what was supposed to be the same cosmetic grade wax was a disaster. Just made a slow goo, purely down to the inconsistency in the quality of the base wax you end up with. But the MoS2 reviewed here, as an additive is great.

Excellent
MoS2 is a great lubricant for moving metal parts, especially spring air guns. Using a dry lubricant prevents the risk of dieseling and can be added to a any grease or oil if needed to improve it's lubricant qualities

Great for lubricating car locks
One of the biggest issues in classic cars is lock barrels that tend to stick with age. Some use graphite powder as lubricant, I prefer MoS2 as it seems to more readily cling to metal surfaces. You can also mix it with normal grease and use on door hinges etc.
