Great features
I saw this while browsing a while back and put them on a list for future consideration. When this was included in a test review against a bunch of others by Todd on the popular YouTube channel "Project Farm," I paid very close attention. This one came out top on my list when weighing quality and rating for a fair price when compared to others. It has a really nice feel to it. I love the wood and metal combination. It has a solid feel, the spring assist is strong, and it locks open solid. The seat belt cutter doesn't look like it would be very effective, but the glass breaker works.

Low Priced Quality Knife
My everyday carry is a $160 Kizer with Titanium handle. I'm a knife enthusiast. So let me tell you this $16 KingMax is incredible. I keep it in the car because it has a seatbelt cutter built into the handle. It flicks open like a much more expensive knife. Everytime I flick open this knife it flicks open like a switch blade. and it's so strong. and the Handle is so solid and has a nice heavy feel to it the way I expect my knives to feel. I just returned a $40 folding knife for have a CHEAP lightweight plastic handle that felt like the balance was off when the knife was opened. This KingMax feels balanced and is strong. Has Frame Lock.

Spring assisted open is far too strong
So the knife is good. It’s fairly light for its size, it feels good in the hand, and it comes very sharp out of the box. The only downside has the potential to be a significant one though: the spring assisted open is too strong. And I don’t mean that it opens to fast or something, I mean that it has come open in my pocket before because it’s so easy to open. That has a potential to be a big deal breaker for some people and I would understand why, but I’ll continue to chance it for the time being since the knife is good and very good for the price.

A sharp good value knife
I work in a warehouse opening boxes for 8 hours per day. This knife does the job very well, however, the screws on the handle came loose after a few days of hard use. I recommend if you purchase this knife remove the screws and coat them with Locktite. You will need a small screwdriver with a "S2-T6" head. Amazon sells a miniature screwdriver set Vcelink GJ751 for a few $.This knife is worth buying if you follow the Locktite suggestion

Bad Lock
This is a good knife blade BUT the spring assist is very bad. It kept opening in my pocket and cutting my pants so amazon sent me a new one and it worked for 1 week then it opened all the way in my pocket and cut my finger badly.

Not too durable
Screws came out of clip within 3 weeks. Very disappointing. Now can’t use clip as screws are missing.

Knife lock defective - did not work. Lost piece attempting a file fix.
This is the second knife in recent months I have purchased where the locking mechanism does not work. The first knife was by another company than this. I attempted a repair on this function on this knife by necessarily having filing down part of the spring lock so it would fit past the blade and lock correctly. Unfortunately I lost a small piece of the knife that divides the two pieces of the handle, and keeps them apart at a specific distance. It is a tiny non-threaded black plastic molded part, which I unfortunately could not find after I dropped it on the floor. That is on me. Now the knife is - useless. Useless. If you buy this, and have to perform a fix on the knife if the locking mechanism is defective, just make sure, unlike me, you put all the pieces in a plastic bag (as I usually do and did not). If I buy another knife from another company in this type of configuration, and the locking mechanism - like this I'm going to create a much bigger stink than a simple bad review. Sending a very sharp knife into circulation with a defective locking mechanics is wrong. Obviously this locking mechanism was not tested at the factory.

Good knife until...
The knife is a decent knife but it's been a few weeks and I'm missing 3 screws and the knife is loose and the end window breaker tip is loose and flops around. Value for money is good. Sturdy knife. Lock feature is good. Just the screws falling out is the down fall of this knife. Thread lock would fix this problem. Amazon or knife company I bought it from please help. I've had it for 2 months and this shouldn't happen. Thanks
