I decided to get this largely because devoting so much space to ice and then dealing with the melted result later, including scooping up the floating bottle labels, water logged cardboard, dumping the water, etc, is just so annoying. The deal was sealed when I started making homemade ice cream (which is a hoot) and wanting to transport it 120 miles away. Before I even had a chance to take it on the road, about a week later my refrigerator freezer decided that it wanted to move on after 8 years together. I fired this life-saver up, it hit 0 degrees remarkably fast (sorry I didn't time it), and frantically packed my softening labors of love into it, along with whatever else would fit. I relegated the lasagna, 3 cheese ziti, garlic toast, and various other nutrition-packed tv dinners to my traditional coolers. Diagnosing and then replacing the refrigerator took 5 days. The entire time this item whirred quietly away. I really, really didn't know if this thing was designed for this kind of duty or if were up to such a use, but it came through like a champ. I'm not making any claims for EUHOMY but my personal experience with this unit is that it's durable and does an extended job with a high degree of functionality. Somewhere in the middle I did load it into the car and took some ice cream across town to a friend. It did great in the back of the car. After a short 8 hours the new refrigerator freezer finally hit 0 degrees and I transferred the contents of the EUHOMY to it. The soggy remains of the ziti et. al. went into the trash. Remaining in this portable refrigerator was... nothing. No floating labels. No water to dump. It's ready for its next assignment. One item to note which many may find to be a great feature. I saw this in one reviewer's video and didn't believe him. There's a short shelf on top of the compressor that stays at a higher temperature than the main body (this isn't a flaw, it's apparently by design). As I said, I had this set for 0 degrees. I had a thermometer inside and moved it back and forth between the main body and shelf several times. The shelf stayed at 33.5 degrees. The temperature reading on the front of the unit consistently read a couple of degrees cooler than the thermometer, and according to it the temperature had a 4 degree swing. I'd rather see 2, but 4 is acceptable to me. I'd really like it if this thing had wheels, but other than that, I think this is quite an amazing device and I'm really glad I got it. I hope to have years of success stories with it; time will tell.

I love this thing. It works great. It's big. It freezes just right. No leakage. Weight isn't that heavy at all. The light inside lights it up pretty good. It stays cold and everything. Very good cooler... this is a must buy item if you need one.....

We use this cooler camping our. Obviously, it needs to be protected from rain and or water. It started cooling when we plugged in. Inside half a hour it cooled to 18 degrees F. I like the small freezer. Also, I like the baskets in the cooler section. This will save money in food thrown out. As of now it has worked for 18 hours. I will rate this as a 5 star. I will also report more later. It is now day 2 This mnorning I put 11 liters of water. I set the temp at -4 degrees F and let it run now for 13 hours. The water is now about 1/2 frozen. This tell me that this freezer is okay for keeping things cool. But, it may not be good from a standing start. I would cool anything I want ahead of time before I use this cooler. Also yeaterday I placed two gallons of cool drinks in the cooler last night and 2 ice trays in the 'freezing compartment. I had sonfigured the cooler to what I thought was reasonable. The cooler would cycle between the interior temperature (41) degrees F then down to 22 the compressor would then turn off. The temp display would them raise slowly back to 41 where the compressor would restare. It cycled this way several times before I set it back to the Factory settings. When I checked the Ice trays they had thawed about 1/2. The cool drinks seemed to still be cool enough to drink. Where it would cool to a set temperature and hold. I used the factory settings in starting my test this morning. So, I would suggest the Factory settings are more optimal. Don't worry too much about things freezing. And, that the 'freezing compartment does not seem to become any colder than the larger compartment. It has run for 13 hours straignt and is holding a -1 F temp., so I would keep this cooler at a 5 stars. Follow-up: Once the water was frozen, I placed a hard frozen liter in the 'small' well. I thought that this well would be cooler than the large. I found that this is not the case. I set the temp. to 20 degreesF ( I had been told this was a good temp. for Ice-cream). Over the course of 2 days the water containers in the large well remained frozen. The measured temp. was 28 F. But, the small well thawed. The measured temp 40 F At this time, the liter has a thin piece of ice in the center and the rest of the water is thawed. The temp. given by the cooler display is 20. So, the instruction manual does not share this. If I need to keep food thawed and not frozen, the small well is the place. Regards

Updated Review.. Euhomy contacted me after I wrote the original review. They sent a replacement lock. It was easy to install and has been working perfectly ever since. One thing - the lock comes with three springs. The replacement did not include the springs. I kept the original and used those springs on the replacement. So, if you have to replace the lock, make sure you keep the springs. I up my rating from two to four stars. I would have given five - it works that well - but I would have preferred a small freezer and a large refrigerator. That is not a knock on the product. It is a personal preference. In summary - definitely worth the purchase price and I would recommend it. Original Review.... The door lock broke on the second day I used this. You can snap it back together but it falls apart the next time you open it. It still keeps everything cold, but without a working lock, if it tilts over you spill everything. When first turned on, it cools very quickly. It maintains the temperature without any problem and works very well. I am very happy with that aspect. But it is hard to get past a broken door lock, especially when you have only used it for two days - and opened it less than 10 times. My recommendation is don't buy until they improve the design of the door lock.

Love, love, love this electric cooler. I use it in my off grid camper van hooked up to a Bluetti power station. It isn’t too heavy for me and it only uses 45 watts when actually cooling - but it isn’t a constant draw. Also, it gets to my desired temperature very quickly and is extremely quiet. In fact, I have to pay close attention to even realize it is running. The phone app is very handy and I find I use it all of the time. In addition, I went ahead and purchased the insulated case which fits perfectly since I anticipate camping in higher heat temps this summer. Not sure it will even be needed but I figured why not. It is important to note that as with most deep electric coolers you have to constantly rearrange your contents to access the items near the bottom. I found the separator helpful for that. I keep my bottled and flavored canned water in one side and food products in the other. Then when I have to move food products out of the way, I simply place them on the water side for the time being. In addition, the small container located over the compressor does not get as cold as the cooler section. I find that section works well for fresh produce. I highly recommend this 12 volt fridge.

Love my cooler. I bought this for a trip last March. It is in daily use at my house as a beverage cooler. Very useful on the go as well. Plugs right into my truck (has regular wall plug and cigarette lighter style plug) and keeps food and drinks cold. I like being able to adjust the temperature, depending on what I have in there.

Just got the Euhomy Car Refrigerator Model CF-55. (June 2021 in North Carolina, Outside temp 72-85F) It arrived 2 days earlier than expected. The Fedex people unfortunately left it on its side, so I had to take it out and set it upright for about 24 hours before using. Started up fine. TESTING IN MY LIVING ROOM (AC set to 78F). Set the Euhomy Frig to 34 degrees F to cool down drinks for a party. Loaded it up with soda and water. After 1 hour, the unit's internal temp was nice and cold at 34F, but it still took another another hour or so for the initially room temperature cans and bottles to be thoroughly chilly. After that, the drinks are perfectly cold for a hot day (thumbs up from the kids!). It's much more efficient when the frig is full of cold drinks/food. Pretty solid performance overall. POWER. In the above scenario, I tested it using AC (from the wall) and DC (using an external battery's DC port). On AC, it can draw 60 watts/hr at first when starting at room temp. After it reached its target temperature, the compressor cycles off and on. With DC, when the compressor is on, it is then around 40 watts/hr to maintain (in ECO mode). I left it running overnight connected to my battery via the DC port, and it was a negligible draw, less than 100 watts total (But the already cold drinks filling the unit helped it stay cool efficiently). DETAILED APP INSTRUCTIONS. It's not hard but might be confusing at first. Here are detailed steps to INSTALL and USE... 1. Plug in the Euhomy frig (the LCD screen on unit should have a Bluetooth symbol at upper left) 2. Download the Alpicool "Car Fridge Freezer" (I just searched iOS store for "Alpicool" to see its apps) 3. Open the "Car Fridge Freezer" app 4. On the App: Click on "Start Scanning" (button near bottom). Takes about 20 seconds... 5. On the App: Double-click on the rectangular button that appears. It says "A1-4XXXXXXXXXX" 6. Within 5 seconds, on the Frig LCD screen, press the SETTINGS button (looks like a gear) once. 7. The App should now switch to its main operating screen -You can see INFO (top half of screen): Current internal unit temp, Target temp, Voltage draw -Using the POWER Icon in upper right area, you can Turn your frig ON or OFF -You can set the target temperature by using the horizontal SLIDER in the middle -Using Bottom Buttons: You can also set to use ECO mode (uses less power, but is slower to reach target temp) -You can also set the LOCK button (this locks the unit's LCD screen from being pressed) -You can set to use Celsius or Fahrenheit degrees -You can click the UNPAIR button to disconnect your smartphone's connection to the frig bluetooth -You can set the cutoff voltage related to your car battery draw (High, Medium, or Low) Overall, I really like this unit and its app. PROS • It gets the temperature cold pretty fast and stays icy cold. • It can hold 55L (or 58 quarts) of capacity (which is pretty huge) • It seems very efficient when drawing off DC on a portable battery or car battery. It sips power overnight. • The app is simple but useful (especially if one is driving and wants to check on the unit in the back) • The price is awesome (low $300's) when compared to big name units ($600+) CONS • It can get a little heavy (30 pounds +) to carry around if you are camping. I just bought a cheap $10 wheeled platform from Harbor Freight to use with this when it's fully loaded. • It is bulkier than a normal non-powered cooler, but if you're like me, I bought it for its extra large capacity, so I can't complain about it. I have to remember to keep the air vents clear around the unit when it is in the car, so that it won't overheat. • The app works, but I really wish they included instructions on it installation and use in the manual. The manual has no details at all. Had to google search for it (That's why I added detailed instructions to my review) Can't say anything about its sturdiness at this point, but its looks and feels pretty solid. I will update if there are any problems in its long-term performance.

I bought this to use at wine festivals to keep the wine slushies frozen. It holds about 50 pouches. Works like a charm even in the heat. I wish it had wheels, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

It's for real.first I downloaded their app once installed In my phone. I was able to turned on and off the unit,with full temperature controls .me and my wife threw in a bottle of water and set it to level 9 and 30 minutes later we had ice cold water. Upon where you are going and what you want to do then level 9 is freezing. Maybe level 3 or 4 gets it done. That machine is very powerful be responsible with it please. Take note that it does have plenty of room for food and drinks.

Im a class 1 driver and this was a game changer .... dont get fooled by smaller size lol this one is big the 59qt and its perfect for a good full 7 days of prep meals at -17 celcius ( sorry American F lol ) and the eco mode working flawlessly this cooler/freezer is a 10/10 for me and the app control to me was a gadget but it end up beeing a must I love it so much easier to control it with out having to actually go in the bunk bed look for it !!

Hasta el momento ha funcionado correctamente es, muy bueno, bonito y practico, tiene varios programaciones que se realiza mediante pulsaciones de los botones del frigorífico, por lo que les recomiendo que antes de prenderlo lean el instructivo y familiaricen sus funciones ya que si lo hacen pueden configurarlo erróneamente y pensar que no funciona adecuadamente.
