SoundSport Wireless, Sweat Resistant, in-Ear Headphones, Aqua

In spite of Bose's reputation, I was a bit skeptical of these headphones, not for any particular reason, but perhaps only because a link over Bluetooth did not inspire confidence in me concerning final sound quality. Looking at the photos of the headphones, too, made me somewhat concerned that these would be a bit uncomfortable in my ear, due to their design and my sensitive ears. Well, I was proven wrong on both counts the minute I tried out these headphones. Without a doubt, these are the best earbud-style headphones I have ever heard. From the moment I started testing them, I was extremely impressed with their clarity, dynamic range, "presence," and, yes, even comfort. Most earbuds I have used over the years require a few days of use before they start to "break in" (and, yes, I know there is controversy about this issue, but I have experienced it myself on multiple brands of headphones at all price levels), but these sounded wonderful right from the first moment of play. If it is helpful, let me be clear and say that I am pairing these with an iPhone X and using high-resolution (24-bit, 192kHz) files, and so some individuals might attribute my reaction to those factors. And there is, of course, a sonic improvement with high-resolution files, and the iPhone X certainly has a good onboard sound system. But after those initial trials, I "downgraded" to lossless rips of CD's (16-bit, 44kHz), and then, finally, moved down to mp3 files (128 bps). Although I could certainly hear the sound quality reduce as I went "down the chain," the earphones themselves continued to sound wonderful, bringing new life to even those relatively low-quality mp3 files. All of this led me to conclude that these headphones sound so good, and are so comfortable to wear, that they are very likely best-in-class. Sure, you can spend over $1,000 on a set of earbuds, but I wonder if there might be a great diminishing of returns, where the tiniest incremental increase in sound quality carries with it a hefty, NON-incremental price hike. The sound from these Bose headphones is rich, easily covers the range from the lowest bass to the highest highs, has an exceptional presence, adds no noticeable noise from the Bluetooth connection, and presents a natural sonic quality that truly makes the headphones "disappear," leaving only the sound. I must say again, I was deeply impressed, so much so that I will now plan to use these with many of my audio players, not just my phone. Some of the information that is easily available in the product section I will briefly mention here, as well. The length of the cord, which goes around the back of the neck, is just about the right length so that when you take the phones out of your ears, the earpieces hang in front of your chest, but don't go so far down that they become a nuisance. A nicely-placed small clip attaches to the back of your collar to further secure the headphones (and is easy to attach, remove, even when reaching behind you because it is shaped for a "rear-handed" grip) A very intuitive and easily-accessible volume and microphone control are on the right side of the cord in a single housing (see the photos), and a single button for on/off, paring, and charging indication are almost invisible on the one ear housing, but still easily accessible without having to look. Charging is accomplished but pulling a discreet rubber panel open on the earphone body and plugging in a micro USB cable (supplied, but perhaps too short for a lot of situations: you might want to use a different cable). Battery length is rated at about eight hours, although I have not yet been able to absolutely verify this value as of yet, it appears to be accurate. The photos of the earbuds which led me to wonder if they would be uncomfortable in my ear (the skin of my ears, including my ears themselves, are sensitive, making many earphones uncomfortable for me to wear). Bose here has done a magnificent job of developing a form fit that is both comfortable AND secure. The curved plastic you see in the photos by the earbuds is actually not plastic at all, but a very flexible and gentle silicone. You simply put the earbud near your ear, press in and twist a little back and forth, and the curved silicone piece pops into the outer ear with just enough "grip" (for lack of better word) to very securely hold the earbud in place, yet are almost unnoticeable. In fact, since this curved silicone piece bears some of the body's weight, it turns out, unbelievably, that these are actually more comfortable than most all of my traditional earbuds which have nothing but the ear canal components (and which I have used for years because on-the-ear headphones hurt my ears in just a matter of minutes). All I can say is that, after testing these out, I thought to myself that there is a reason that Bose has built a reputation as it has. I do not have any other Bose equipment (I did have some of their speakers back in the 1980's), so I cannot speak at all to their other devices, either good or bad. They certainly have maintained an excellent reputation over these years. What I CAN say that these headphones have easily won me over, and I am truly impressed with their ability to put our truly good sound. Seeming a bit expensive when I ordered them, I now view them as a "bargain" of sorts, due to their sound reproduction. Truly an EASY Five Stars, and well worth your consideration, fully understanding that headphones are a very personal choice. But I recommend you try them out if you have not already, because they truly are amazing, particularly at this price point. NOTE; These headphones come with the Stay Hear+ tips, not the standard Stay Hear tips. You will currently (mid 2018) not find replacement buds on Amazon. However, you can purchase replacements directly from Bose at a very reasonable $10 for two pairs of replacement buds, with free expedited shipping. Make sure you get the "+" version when ordering replacement buds!

I have had the Bose Soundsport Wireless Headphones now for three days (as of 9/20/2016). So far, this has been my best experience with bluetooth headphones to date. My past experience was with the Jaybird Bluebuds X and the Master and Dynamic MW60's. Neither the Bluebuds X, nor the MW60 were capable of passing what I call the outdoor back pocket test, but the Bose Soundsport Wireless do. This test consists of placing my phone in my back pocket and walking outside into an open area where the headphones cannot rely on the bluetooth signal bouncing off nearby walls. Both the Bluebuds and MW60's would quickly start losing signal and dropping out (this in direct contradiction to the Jaybird marketing material, and which they later admitted was an issue in emails - ahem, false advertising?). The Bose Soundsports deal with this situation no problem; maybe the very, very, very occasional hiccup, but it's almost unnoticeable since the signal is dropped and regained so quickly. I have taken the Bose headphones on several bike rides now paired to an iPhone 7 in both my back jersey pocket and rear pants pocket while commuting around town and on sweat-drenched rides in the hills with interval training, and they've hiccuped only a few times. Again, in each case the signal was regained so quickly that I wasn't certain it was even dropped at all. The Bluebuds X, by comparison, dropped out so frequently I couldn't use them for cycling at all without being incredibly annoyed. Same for the MW60's used outdoors; walking around outside with them on drove me nuts. The open ear nature of the Bose headphones is great for cycling because it lets enough sound from the environment reach your ears so that you can hear cars approaching from behind. While the design of the earbuds on the Bose are a little fiddly to get into your ears correctly the first few times you use them, once they're in they seem to stay in just fine and block enough ambient noise to make the music stand out. The Bluebuds, by comparison, with their in-ear design provided a lot more sound isolation, but that also felt disconcerting at times and unsafe when used on the road. The design of the Bose earphones may not appear as sleek as the newer Jaybird Freedoms or X2's, and would seem clunky, they are still very light and I don't notice them while wearing them. So, while perhaps not as aesthetically pleasing for others looking at you, functionally Bose gets the job done perfectly. If I have one knock on the Bose Soundsport Wireless Headphones, it's that they aren't particularly loud, meaning at full-volume they are not as ear-splitting as a set of Apple earbuds plugged directly into my phone. The sound quality, however, is much much better; somewhere in between Apple earbuds and a high quality over-ear headphone (like the Sony MDR-1A). Definitely pretty great for Bluetooth! However, if you're looking for a pair of headphones you can use in a noisy environment and achieve total sound isolation, these Bose headphones are not it due to both the open-ear design and inability to really crank the volume. For bike rides I have the Soundsports at three to four notches from full volume, and in a loud coffee shop I need to crank them all the way up to drown out the surrounding din (and sometimes wish I could go higher). Lastly, from what I understand, the first run of these headphones had some issues for people who sweat a lot. I'm one of those people (literally rivers of sweat roll off me when I'm cycling and working out), but so far I haven't had an issue with the Soundsport Wireless. However, I assume that the ones I received are the updated version that had that issue corrected. So, I guess we'll see if that changes as I use them more, but so far, so great!

I purchased these for running. I've tried numerous bluetooth headphones for running, but they all had one problem or another. The major problem all of them had was that they simply wouldn't stay in place after I started sweating. Either they would fall out of my ear completely with the bouncing, or they were the type that required a seal with the ear canal and couldn't hold it so it would require constant readjusting to keep the sound quality up. With my unused bluetooth headphone pile growing, I simply gave up, and dealt with my trusty Sony wired headphones which gave me no trouble other than the wire. This was fine until I bought a new iPhone and lost the headphone jack. The combination of the cumbersome adapter and the worry of damaging the charging port through excessive use with headphones caused me look into bluetooth headphones again. Rather than trying yet another type of cheap bluetooth headphones, I figured I'd bite the bullet and give these Bose headphones a try. I'm glad I did. After a couple 5mi runs, and haven't had a single issue with needing to readjust them. They feel light on the ears and give no indication that they're moving at all while running drenched in sweat. I almost forget they're there. I don't think they require a seal with the ear canal to produce optimal audio quality, so there isn't that noticeable and annoying drop off that happened with some other bluetooth headphones. I took a short bike ride with these, and I did get the obnoxious wind sound that you'll get at speed with any headphones that stick out of your ears. Hard to say if it's more or less than other headphones, but it was completely expected, but I just thought I should note it here. I'm not really an audiophile, and the above practicality mostly takes precedence over audio quality for me, but I do really enjoy the audio quality of these headphones. My music taste has a wide range from Rock to Rap to Jazz to Classical. Mids and Highs sound clear while the Bass is meaningful without being overpowering. Since I haven't and don't really intend to use these for hours on end, I can't really comment on battery life yet. It seems like I might be able to use these for a weeks worth of runs without charging, but I've ended up charging them after each run. The mic/button stalk don't swing to my face while running, which was a problem with a previous set of headphones. It seemed to stay out of the way until I needed to skip a track or adjust the volume, and those actions worked as expected. The buttons are a little mushy, but thats fine with me as long as they work, and they did. I haven't taken a call with the headphones yet, so I can't comment on microphone quality. I loaded the Bose Connect app to see what it offered. I think the only thing I'll use it for will be firmware updates, of which there was one when I first opened it. The firmware update took about 30 minutes to download onto the headphones. It provides the battery level, as well as allowing you to connect to multiple Bose bluetooth headphones simultaneously. That's not something I'll be doing, and even without the app, the battery level is shown with the headphone icon at the top of the iPhone. Using the button to tracks also works without the app. All told, I'm very happy with the headphones. I probably spent more on the pile of cheap bluetooth headphones than I did on these. I wish I bought these first.

I have now had these Bose Soundsport headphones for a few weeks. I use them primarily for workouts and walks. First impressions are very good. The fit and finish is what you would expect from a $150 set of headphones. Sound wise they sound good but audiophiles will probably think they are bass heavy. I don't really mind. I have always been partial to high end headphones and while i prefer the overall sound profile of the wired Etymotic and Klipsch headphones i have, i don't find the sound quality of the Bose Soundsports off putting. Just different. They are very comfortable, stay in place, and the earpieces do a decent (if not stellar) job of noise isolation. The other benefit is the little wing that slides into you ear to hold the headphones in places is part of the ear plug. My last set of wireless headphones for working out were Jabra Rox and their earwings slid onto the body of the headphone. I can't tell you how many of those i lost and the headphones would not stay in place without them. I grew to hate that design. The bluetooth range of the Bose Soundsports seems to be excellent. 60 feet is not an issue at all with these on my iPhone 7 plus. Right now i would say these are the headphones i have been looking for but I will reserve the 5 star review until i have owned them for a period of time. Over the last few years i have owned Jaybirds. I replaced 3 pair under warranty as the sweat always killed one of the speakers after a few months. Also, i just could not get them to fit right but that is probably just me. I finally gave up. Same thing with a set of motorola's. I think i replaced 2 pair under warranty. I then moved on to Jabra Rox and had to replace multiple pair under warranty. One from an unrecoverable software glitch and one from a speaker going out. When i got the second pair back i used them for regular listening (no sweaty workouts) and they lasted about 2 years before the battery finally called it quits. In the Interim i had purchased a set of Plantronics Back Beat fit. They worked perfectly for a few years till the battery gave up and i bought the Bose. They were good headphones but the noise isolation of the earpiece was not great and i had some of the wired Soundsports in the past and liked them. So....as you can see i have spent a lot of money on wireless headphones for working out. I have come to the conclusion that if the sweat doesn't kill them the best case scenario with the tiny batteries in these things is that they wont last much longer then 1.5- 2 years before the batteries die assuming i use them about 4-6 hours a week. That's why this time when i purchased these Bose Soundsports i bought the four year warranty (and i never buy warranties). I read the reviews on Square protection (the warranty provider) and they seemed solid. The price was $20. I can almost guarantee that over a four year period i will use that warranty at least once probably twice. If you are new to wireless headphones (especially in this price range) i would strongly consider the warranty. Even if the headphones don't die the batteries will. You can pretty much count on it over time.

Update 5 - 9.07.17: after 7 months of ownership I have to say that these headphones have been excellent. Very few Bluetooth drops, plenty loud and very nice bass (I do use an EQ on Spotify). No problems with static or the rubber casing peeling. Understand that I don’t use these for working out, so the only sweat they have seen is from yard work. They have been outstanding and when I last checked, they were still playing on about 6 hours per charge! Update 4: Well I have had these since 2.16.17 (today is 5.13.17) and put many hours of listening on them. While I don't work out with them, they have had their fair share of sweat from working in the yard. I have had zero problems with them and just bought my wife a pair yesterday. They still sound excellent and the bass response is phenomenal. I use Spotify with the EQ set to ROCK since that's what I mainly listen too. I will say that after many hours of use, they sound better than when they were new and they sounded excellent when new. Would definetly buy again! Update 3: For those who put the iPhone in their front pocket and loose connectivity understand that the wifi/Bluetooth antenna is located at the top of the back if the phone. So when I place it in my front pocket I point the screen towards my leg with the phone in the up position to protect it from bumps but it also places the wifi/Bluetooth antenna up and out. By doing this I never loose a signal. Update 2: Well I've had a few days to evaluate these and I can find no fault. They sound incredible but like all earphones you have to find the ear piece that fits your ear best. I've settled on the large ear pieces and the work great but you still have to move them around your ear a bit to get the best bass response. I ordered the Bose charging case and it's sooo much better and larger than the cheap smallish case you get with the earphones but is it worth $49.00...not in my opinion but it is much better than stock and it keeps your SoundSport charged. Well that's it for my review unless something goes wrong. Update 1: My house is roughly 2600 square feet with a walkout basement and the SoundSports kept a signal throughout the house. I set the Auto-off to 5 minutes but this morning they were still on, not sure what's up with that. I did however make multiple changes right before I updated the firmware so they might have gotten reset, they should not have but hey these are just mini computers with speakers so it's possible. Got these today and they sound excellent. Writing this review while listening to them. I didn't buy these to work out in but rather to sit out back in the summer and crank up some tunes. I have many Bluetooth speakers but a little loud for the neighbor folks. Will update in a few weeks when I've had a chance to go thru a few albums. I found that fitting them correctly was the key to a good sound. I have normal sized ears but only the large ear adapters would work.

This is my 2nd pair of these headphones - and they are my favorites. I also own an old pair of around-ear bose soundlinks, the soundsport free, and the apple airpods. All have their pros and cons, as I will explain below. The only experience I have with noise-cancellers is with the sony wh-1000xm2 that my wife got as a surprise gift (she loves them). These are my favorite headphones for running or working out, and also watching movies on an airplane. The sound and fit is nearly identical to the soundsport free. They sound like bose headphones - pretty good, you can probably get better sound but there will be compromises in other areas. The soundsport free's have a few strange compromises to eliminate the wire - phone calls only play through the right side, and they have trouble pairing to my laptop (a razer running windows 10)- they would only pair in headset mode and not music mode. I would blame razer or microsoft, but I've never had this problem with any other headphone. These Soundsport have no nonsense with oddities like that, and the reception is a bit better as the antenna is in the wire, not enough to make a difference in practice. But there is, of course, a wire. I consider this a good thing when I run (and I run almost every day) as I tuck it into my headband to keep them from moving. I also have a lot of hair so it can be hard to fit the free's back in on the fly, need to clear all the hair out of your ear first, same with any in-ear. You can also dangle one phone from the wire around your neck without worrying about it. The buttons are much easier to press. The only downside is, they charge using a micro-usb and not the usb-C that my laptop, phone, and nintendo switch use. In fairness, the frees, sony's, and bose's soundlinks use micro-usb, too, so you'll be stuck needing to worry about an extra charging cord no matter what. By comparison, I wanted to also mention how these compare to the airpods and free's. Both of those eliminate the wire, but with the addition of a charging case that has an extra battery. The apple case is quite discreet, whereas the bose free case is hilariously huge. If you keep your phone in an otterbox or it is a panasonic toughpad, you probably won't mind the bose case. It makes quite a bump in your jeans pocket. The airpods have some funky pairing mechanisms that make them difficult to use if you have other apple equipment - For work, my employer has given me an iphone 7 and an older macbook pro from 2015. Switching the airpods between these devices will occasionally require the device be signed out and back into icloud - which is a huge headache. After the 2nd time of hitting the massive icloud reset button in the sky, they have been relegated to phone use only with my xperia. This is where the airpods excel - phone calls play through both ears, you can use both, or either one, or even share one with a colleague for a conference call. The mike is great at noise cancelling, and I work in very noisy environments. Both pods have a mike and the work some voodoo when you wear both of them to cancel out almost all noise. They do a lot of really nice stuff. My personal phone is a sony xperia xz1, and the airpods pair to and work with the sony without any hiccup, never failing to pair. They also pair to my windows laptop fine, but will only connect to one device at a time (They forget the other device and must be re-paired, which is quite painless but still an annoyance compared to the Bose). They also sound really really bad, and don't have any controls other than a play/pause by either 'double flicking' either pod while it's in your ear, or removing one pod to pause. You can find better-sounding BT headphones than the airpods for under $20, and they will have much better controls, but they won't have apple branding. The airpods charging case requires an apple-specific lightning cable, but one comes in the box so it's not a huge deal. The soundsport free's, by contrast, feature the excellent sound quality of the soundsports, IMO they sound even better because they are newer. They are my favorite headphones for just listening to music around the house or taking a quick phone call. Unlike the airpods, they don't really work with just one. The right bud is the "master": it is used for phone calls (there is no mike in the left bud), it also has the +,...,- buttons on the top, which are slightly awkward because they are hard to press. The left bud does not play voice calls, it is used for music only. It also has the BT pairing button on it. You can almost get away with using only the right bud, so long as you don't want/need to switch devices. You can also use just the left bud, but the right bud needs to be kept within range (e.g., in a pocket) and also out of the charging case. However, the soundsport free's have one big advantage, or disadvantage depending on your use case, and there is no wire connecting them. Because I have long and bushy/curly hair, my hair will push the wire around if I'm not wearing a headband or hat (e.g. whenever I'm not running) and it will cause the headphones to come loose. That is a thing of the past with the free's, and the free's are the only headphones I have ever used where I can stick them in and forget them - the airpods are slightly better than the wired headphones included with the iphone (best just left in the box, IMO) but will still fall out and bounce all over the floor if you turn your head even slightly to one side. I have noticed that if sweat gets into the free's they get a bad honky sound to them, and then need to be rinsed out. If sweat gets into the regular soundsports, they just get quieter (muffled) and the volume can then be turned up to compensate. Both versions of soundsport are quite discreet as they stick mostly within the ear area. The airpods have a white stalk that dangles below the earlobe... this contains the battery and antenna so it is necessary for now but it is quite noticable, as they are bright white. Depending on the earrings I'm wearing the stalk can clack against the earring. Right now I'm wearing 4awg glass spirals and I wear them all the time, they definitely clack into the airpods. However, the airpods are still small enough that people will want to talk to you and not realize you have headphones in to ignore them on purpose. For this purpose (e.g. airports, lounges, etc) the Soundlink around-ear's still reign supreme (mine are bright white from 2015, even with my hair they cannot be missed). If you are concerned about price, these soundsports are the least expensive of the 3 (although in such a case it is hard to argue against a pair of jvc or koss gummy headphones for 9 dollars, and live with the wire going to your phone... if the wire rips, it's only $9... I also bought my first soundsport in 2016 and they were 150 even back then - the airpods being 160 and free's being a bit more around 200. Ideally Bose would have introduced the free's at 150 and dropped the regular soundsport to 120 or so, but I don't think any of these brands are competing on price. The IT man gave me the airpods, I would not have spent my own money on them. My first pair died after about 2 years of daily use - early morning runs and then showers. While bose advertises them as waterproof, they are not necessarily sweatproof, dirtproof, chlorine proof, shampoo proof, etc. My 2nd pair I have been careful to rinse them out in the shower after every run, I've had them for about 8 months now and they are still going strong. I sometimes wear the airpods in the shower too and they are holding up fine, but they fall out easily (same reason why I don't run with them) and their sound is really only meant for phone calls and spoken word, not music. I try to avoid getting the soundsport free's wet. I'm sure they are just as waterproof as the regular soundsports, but there's no easy way to dry them off without worry about losing them (don't want to put in case wet, can't be hung from the towel rack because no wire, looks suspiciously like a doggo treat, etc). Long story short, if I only had one pair of headphones, it would be these. If I didn't run and exercise so much, it would be the free's. If I never listened to music and only used them for phone calls and podcasts, it would be the airpods. But, I like to run and I like to listen to music, so... the end!

No problem with these at all. I've owned the 901s back in the day, had the sound docks, air links, Bluetooth ear buds and now these. Bought the first pair at a retail store and got these for my son, who also loves them. I had two of the little single ear buds, one for each ear, and after 5 years of hard use, the right one's on/off switch did finally broke on me, but the other one still works great, after all these years. But I wanted longer battery life, so I got these. 6 hours, and I do get 6 hours of music listening out of these. Just drove from Texas to Mississippi this morning and they went out on me around Little Rock. I looked at my watch and it was just over 6 hours of constant music listening, with a couple of phone calls in there too. That is awesome! Now I don't work out with mine, so I don't know about any issues with sweating, like others have said, but these I use at work, messing around the house, outside, wherever. No problems at all. I usually stick one bud in my ear and clip it on my collar and let the other one hang in my front pocket at work, so I can still hear what's around me. These are not the noise canceling ones. Those are coming out in a month or so I hear. But even with both buds in my ear, if I'm not listening to music at that time, I can still hear what's going on around me pretty good. They just work for me. Like I said, I've owned many Bose products, not to mention cars with the Bose systems in them too, and I've never had any problems with them. They last longer than other products like them. Sure they cost more, but I got 5 years out of that one ear bud before the on/off switch broke. And I used those almost daily for 5 solid years. I've never had a blue tooth ear bud last more than a year or so before. So you get what you pay for. I wasn't even mad. I just went and bought these mostly because of the longer run time, but was so impressed, I bought my son a pair for his birthday. He's wearing them right now. That other ear bud, the left side, it still works but I only get about 2 hours with it. So these are awesome! Again, I cannot say anything about the other ones that had issues with sweat getting in the controls, but these are the new ones that are supposed to have fixed that problem. I figure they probably did. All my other Bose products that I still own, still work, other than the above mentioned ear bud. And I'll buy from Bose again and again. They are the only speakers I have in my house, car and ear. And no, I'm not paid to say this. Just like giving credit where it is certainly due. I highly recommend these and I will certainly buy from Bose again.

OK. Now - before I drag BOSE through the preverbal streets, let me preface by saying 1) I have been BOSE since birth. It was my dad's brand, then mine; I have Bose speakers in my car (and I can't lie, they are EVERYTHING). 2) I have Asperger's. If you're not familiar, just know this: it's what makes me overly loyal to what I love and enjoy. Which means to write this PAINS ME because it feels like I'm on the podium at the Olympics and my mom (aka BOSE in this metaphor) stands up like, "That's my son!" And I'm like, "I don't know her?" ..... I'm not trying to deny my mother aka Bose ever! But what this must be done. *You will love everything about these at first.... but that battery capacity will kick you in the ass fast. And then, before you know it, it will barely hard a charge for 2/3 of the original capacity, and you will deal with this tiny turd of an issue, because everything else is like heaven. What's one turd in heaven gonna hurt? *But then - and you will not know how much you need it until it's gone - BUT YOUR CLIP WILL BREAK. And those earbuds staying on your person just by your neck that you think will keep them on you just fine, and that of course if they fell off or whatever, you'd notice? Nooooope. You're gonna want that clip. And then when you go to Amazon to see how much a replacement clip is, you are going to flip off your computer (or whatever device). Two turds in heaven though? We can simply avoid that street, right? .... (I got the citron and grey - and those colors are fierce AF. Love them! But they don't stay clean. If you work out and get dirt and grime on them, that plastic stains and it's hard to remove. I found myself haven't to delicately (because they are sensitive electronics) yet aggressively (because nothing but a damn magic eraser piece I held with a pair of tweezers in order to get to the tight areas and such) would do. AND THIS IS A DAMN SHAME.) * But this is when my heart hurt...... ONE OF THE TWO MICROSCOPIC PRONGS THAT HOLD THE SILICONE EAR TO THE ACTUAL HEADPHONE BROKE...... and life was over. .... what this means is the piece that you try on to make sure it fits nice and snug and then attach to the earbud - they can no longer stay securely attached. And you're left with no way to fix this without sending in for repair. And then you will sit staring at these things looking at that tiny little prong and say, "What genius - as brilliant as these are - STOPPED BEFORE DESIGNING ANOTHER METHOD BESIDES THESE HAIR THIN PRONGS TO HOLD THESE TOGETHER ???????????? ON A DEVICE PEOPLE ARE WORKING OUT IN AND ESSENTIALLY YANKING IN AND OUT OF THEIR EARS ALL DAY LONG?????????? (when I tell you I had to ask Jesus to heal my anger ...... I HAD TO. MANY TIMES. *And just because these apparently didn't even think they were headphones anymore but a contestant for a Dr. Phil episode where the subject has given up on life altogether, the other ear - despite every troubleshooting attempt and me taking it to experts - just stopped producing full sound. Basically you have Whitney belting, I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU at the top of her lungs and its full and rich..... and at the same time you have the Ying- Yang twins whispering in the other ear. Because I've had years of therapy and it's not right to book a flight to Bose corporate without having a meeting scheduled to tell these experts how to do a job I know nothing about how to do it better than this Tom Foolery, I used my partial master's degree level intelligence to look up how to go about having them fixed/replaced/returned etc. .......... THE ONLY OPTION WAS THAT SINCE THEY CAN'T BE REPAIRED FULLY, AND IT'S PAST WARRANTY FOR A REPLACEMENT, I CAN MAIL THEM IN AND THEY WILL SEND ME / GIVE ME ACCESS TO A COUPON OF SORTS THAT GETS ME A DISCOUNT ON CURRENT OR SELECT NEW DEVICES. This is where - in my mind - I walked over to Bose's house, grabbed Bose's baby, slapped the baby, told Bose that I've always thought he was an ugly baby but his baby is the ugliest baby in the world, handed him back his ugly baby, then lit that house on fire, walking away in slow-mo like Angela Bassett in Waiting to Exhale. Boooooooooooooooooose, baby, sweetheart, love, boo..... YOU GOTTA DO BETTER, HOMIE!? The app is already lacking in what it can do, which we all tolerate because the sound is everything. But truth is... it WAS everything. And everything now includes customer service, jumping in and handling things better than the customer expects because that word-of--mouth is almost always gonna happen and reach far and wide. And just .... bring all of your C-/B+ game outside of sound up to sound quality and stop messing with barbie parts on things that break when you sneeze, and using materials for sportswear that stain when it touches air, or offering coupons on items that for some of us we have to save for or give up something else to have. I got a good 5 months out of these before they started following apart. That's a shame. And you are the worst ex I've ever had because I won't buy you at all - period. And anytime I see someone I know about to buy you, I tell them to pour the lemonade and take a seat because I have A STORY THAT WILL KILL YOU! (And it's not cute.) Save your coin, kids. Unless ur rich or get that quadruple warranty where the warranty has a warranty. XO

I've tried a few different brands of exercise/running headphones and these have been far and away the best. I had a nice expensive pair of completely wireless ones from another brand - great sound quality but they failed 3 months in. Replaced and failed again. So looking for an alternative, I came across these and I love them. Comfortable. Easy to use. They connect/sync with bluetooth easier and more effectively than any bluetooth device I've ever used. I've never had the earpiece fall out and it's also not uncomfortable. The clip that can fasten them to your shirt is also great - a prior pair I had from a different brand had a flimsy clip that broke pretty quickly - these ones don't Sound quality is good - I mainly listen to podcasts but when I listen to music it comes through clearly. Can't recommend them enough for the price

Got these on sale and totally worth it at that price. I have weird shaped ears that just will not hold earbuds in even with properly sized rubberized tips but these fit wonderfully and don’t come out even with strenuous exercise and stay comfortable all day. They do stick out a lot but I’ll totally accept that compromise in return for my earbuds not falling out every 10 minutes or less. There is minimal noise isolation or cancellation at all with these but that’s great for situational awareness. Sounds quite fantastic for earbuds but you need to be in quiet environment to fully appreciate. I really like that it can pair to 2 devices at the same time for my personal phone and work phone and range is fantastic. I’ve left my office and forgot my phone and ran over to the photocopier 25 meters away with several offices in between and I still get music playing with no issues. I wish there was more control options for music. Battery life is not that great though, it will not last the whole work day if I’m listening to stuff while working, seems to be around 6 hours. Mic seems to be pretty good, I’ve had no complaints using it in calls and doing online presentations. If I had to purchase again I would probably not pay full price for these due to the battery life.

I already owned a pair of Sound True around-ear wired headphone from BOSE and I truly love them. The reason behind choosing Bose headphones are mainly due to the sound quality, which keeps Bose separate from the other brands and the SoundSport Wireless is no different. The build quality is great and it connects with the mobile/laptop Bluetooth without any issue. However, I must admit the design is a bit outdated compared to the other competitor brands in the market. It feels a bit heavy in my ear after wearing for more than 2 to 3 hours. Also, the battery stays alive for about 6 hours, which is also below average compared to the other brands. I haven't tested them while running. I yet to understand the wind impact on the sound. Also, the Bose is known for its durability. I hope my pair stays with me for long. If you seek for sound quality then hands down Bose, however, if the design is the main concern for you then you need to look elsewhere.

Es un producto que supero mis espectativas, lo utilizo a diario en la oficina, son muy comodos a pesar de usarlo todo el dia, la calidad de audio es muy buena a pesar que mi celular es de gama media baja. Soy muy exigente con la calidad de audio y con la experiencia de los sonidos graves y cumple perfectamente, imagino que con une equipo de mayor gama el sonido puede ser mucho mejor al tener una señal bluetood de mejor calidad. Sobre la duracion de la bateria una carga dura aproximadamente 6 horas sin problema y la carga es razonable, aroximadamente en 30 minutos carga al 100%. En cuanto a la garantía por lo menos en la ciudad de México es altamente recomendable, el proceso sencillo, en mi caso se despego un poco la goma del botón de encendido y solicite la garantía, yo pensé que los repararian pero mi sorpresa fue enorme cuando me dijeron que harían un cambio total del equipo, incrédulo espere el tiempo que me indicaron para la sustitución (20 días hábiles) y al cumplirse el plazo, en efecto me hicieron el cambio por un producto totalmente nuevo, en caja y sellado, creo que esto demuestra que al comprar productos de calidad tienen un respaldo para garantizar la satisfacción del cliente. Sobre decir que no son tan económicos pero valen totalmente la pena, sin duda los volvería a comprar.

Produit testé en voiture, en train, et au bureau. J'ai eu du mal à passer le pas des intras. Ceux fournis habituellement avec les téléphones ou autres devices audio ne m'ont jamais tenu dans les oreilles, j'avais donc peur d'un faux bon achat.. Eh bien après une dizaine de minutes à essayer les différents embouts fournis (3 tailles), ces écouteurs tiennent si bien dans mes oreilles que je peine à y croire ! Les écouteurs restent gros pour des intras, vous ne les porterez pas sous un casque), mais se font vite oublier. Côté son, c'est du Bose. Question de goût, certains aiment, d'autres pas. Personnellement j'aime leur signature sonore : basses présentes sans être trop marquées, bonne répartition sur les mediums et aigus. On reste bien au fait de l'environnement sonore extérieur, comme cela doit être le cas avec des écouteurs sportifs, mais le volume sonore global peut être poussé assez fort (couplé avec un Samsung S7) pour s'isoler si on le souhaite (au péril de vos tympans...) Les annonces sonores sont claires et pertinentes (niveau de batterie, appareil couplé....), et on peut les passer en français pour les irréductibles. Côté ergonomie : le câble se montre très discret dans le coup. Il reste bien fixé grâce à la petite pince que vous pouvez accrocher au t-shirt et qui contribue à la stabilité de l'ensemble. Le bouton de commande principal, sur l'écouteur droit, n'est pas évident à localiser au départ, mais on s'y fait vite. La télécommande tombe facilement sous la main, et les commandes sont simples. Le cordon de charge est un peu court, et de mon côté a été remplacé par un des nombreux câbles micro-usb qui traînaient à la maison. L'étui fourni, avec son mousqueton, est bien pratique pour transporter le tout. Côté batterie : pas encore un test complet, mais après 3 heures d'écoute j'en suis à 60% de batterie (annonce du niveau de batterie à l'allumage des écouteurs, très pratique pour ne pas se faire surprendre...)
