These are the ONLY water kefir grains you should buy.
These are the ONLY water kefir grains you should buy. Ive tried so many which simply dont make a fizzy drink on a second ferment. These ones are busting with vitality, a complete contrast to Kambouchorganic grains which are limp and lifeless. And they only use 1 spoon of sugar per 20g kefir grains. Absolutely fantastic product, thank you

Amazing grains, amazing customer support, I am starting to love freshlyfermented
First of all, I purchased 60g. They arrived in 2 bags. One said it was 20g, the other - 40g. 40+20=60. Makes sense. After taking them out of the bags I weighed them and they were 80g! I wanted to make sure I wasn't ripped off and it turns out I am the one who ripped them off!Secondarily, I wanted to know exactly which strains are within the grains. I wrote to the guys and they got back to me on the same day (see the attached image).Another brand selling grains on amazon (and a bigger brand at that) told me they don't test for the individual strains because of how high the costs associated with such tests are! These guys here really go the extra mile.I have ordered from freshly fermented before - their milk kefir grains. I was incredibly happy with those as well. Now a few notes for any new people getting into water kefir making:Buy yourself some molasses, commercially known as black treacle in the UK. Water kefir needs a lot of minerals and using 2-5g of molasses in the water will be enough (added in addition to the sugar).Use bottled water. Tesco, Sainsbury etc sell 5L and 10L bottles, get one of them and use it to make kefir to avoid killing your grains with the antibacterial chlorine found in tap water.60g grains for 1000 ml water with 60g sugar and 2-5g molasses.Look into second fermentation, that's where you can get really creative.Happy fermenting!

All good
I have made several batches of water kefir to date and very pleased to see the grains multiplying well. Already over 20g more than I started out with.

Brilliant value way to create your own probiotics
I'm really glad that we discovered water kefir. They've multiplied fast and now we're passing grains onto friends to make their own kefir, as we've got so much! We're having fun trying new flavours, our favorites have been frozen blueberries, lime and mint, grapes, oranges.
