These cutters are not cheap. It would be nice if they were made out of durable material rather than the hard plastic they are made from. One drop on a hard tile floor caused my old unit to break necessitating a replacement. The cost is expensive but the company bows it’s a niche market and a necessity for amputees. Great way to make a buck. Sell something that must cost less than $4.00 to make for over $20 to people that need it. O well. Just be careful with it..it’s brittle and can break upon dropping on a hard floor.

My husband has left side paralysis, and this allows him to trim his nails on both hands independently. He just needs a steady surface to sit the clippers on and he is good.

Depuis mon AVC, ma main droite n’a plus de flexibilité et de dextérité, mais avec cet outil, je peux maintenant me couper les ongles toute seule!! Ça prends du temps et de la pratique pour savoir comment manipuler parfaitement, mais ça vaut entièrement la peine! 😄

I bought this product for my 84 year old Mother. As an occupational therapist I have used one-handed nail clippers, and this one appeared to be safer and provide more control. I found it to be very difficult to control, and the clipper itself was slightly convex rather than concave, leaving the nail with sharp points on either side. For the price I was very disappointed. Since it did not meet our needs, I have to buy another nail clipper.

Good build. Good size. Learning to use with in my one good arm, is the challenge!!
