I didn't want this item b/c it wasn't what I was expecting .. I Return it and I was charged $11 for return shipping! I might as well kept it, even though it wasn't what I wanted. VERY disappointed.

Light itself is decent quality and bright. Mounting bracket does not match size of light. I had to spend 15 minutes with a pair of pliers to rebend the bracket to make to wider to catch the screws from the light base. Frustrating.

Installs well, not too bright of a light, not too dark either. I'm suggesting this light to everyone I know- makes so much room on my nightstand and doesn't feel flimsy. Husband likes that it doesn't bother him when he's trying to sleep/watch tv/whatever and I'm staying up reading.

I have this mounted next to my son's bed for him to read with. It is somewhat flimsy and came loose a couple times, but that might be due to him messing around with it too much. But I was able to easily adjust it and fix the problem, so it works as hoped.

We use it every day. Hands free for reading in bed, doing crosswords, great directional light but not too much for going to sleep. I would say the only downside to this light is that it gets very warm when left on for long periods of time. When you install it, please use threadlocker to ensure the screw(s) don't come undone, otherwise you'll have to constantly retighten the screws the more you use it. Other than that, it's great!

A little brighter than I had hoped for, but it was simple to mount and my son really loves using it to read in his bed in the evening.
