I've been a bluemaan customer for years and I love the quality of all of their products. The wax fiber is the best all-around for low shine, medium-high hold. For a good 3-4 hours this stuff will stand strong, but it is easily water soluble so sweat tends to take it out (I'm a forehead sweater) It never leaves my hair sticky or feeling gross. For the money it does give you fairly little but it depends on how you use it. For a guy with shorter hair I can make one of these last at least 6 months if I use it every day. No mans hair is equal. What works for my hair may not work for yours. And what works for someone elses hair may not work for yours either. I have searched for years and spent hundreds of dollars on countless of products that would never hold my hair. I've tried waxes, pastes, gels, creams, cream clay... None of these products ever held my hair. I have thick, wavy, unruly hair that is very very unmanageable. Previous hair products always made my hair look great right after applying but then gave out just a few hours later. I was always super self conscious about my hair. I always watched the blumaan videos and would always take his advice. Blumaan's hair is very similar to mine and he uses this product and his hair is amazing. So I thought about giving this a try. I was a little skeptical of the high price and the low quantity of the product, but after a few days, I finally went for it. I do not regret it at all! Of course I watched the youtube video to ensure that I applied the product right and WOW. My hair looks so nourished after application - SLIGHTLY shiny BUT a healthy shine and not an artificial shine. The scent is great and not overpowering (I personally like it). And the hold, it is amazing! I don't use too much product at all. Just a fingertip amount and work it through my hair. It feels like hardly anything is in my hair. My hair is left manageable and I could rework it with ease if I want to later in the day. Of course you can feel the residue in your hands if you run your hands through your hair. But it is no big deal. I have finally found a product that holds my hair!! I say go for it, buy it!

Update 12/12/2016 Got my order of "Original" in direct from Blumaan and it is what I was expecting. White, not buttery, and hold is as expected. See last picture. Shows the latest and greatest direct from Blumaan, the stuff I got via Amazon and then a jar of Smooth (direct from Blumaan) for the heck of it. Color difference is easier to see in person but should be visible in the picture Update 12/2/2016 I've been in contact with Joe (and team) and have a few updates. I am sending this particular jar back via Amazon and have ordered a jar of Original direct from Blumaan as well as a jar of their new "smooth" (hey, why not?). Smooth came in yesterday and is MUCH more like what I'm used to. It's slightly more, well.. smooth, than Original, but overall it's not anything like what I received originally via Amazon. It's much thicker, white and not warm buttery looking/feeling. I'm not sure how but it appears I just got a bad jar somehow. I don't know if it had gotten too hot somewhere in transit or something else, but bottom line, it appears the product has not changed. I just got a bad jar somehow. In the future I will likely just order direct to try to avoid this happening again. I will update again once the new jar of "Original" comes in and also add some pictures comparing all 3 jars. Original Review 11/30/2016: have ordered this product several times since it was first introduced. It was literally the only product I had used since first trying it as I absolutely loved it. It was the only true low shine / high(ish) hold product that I've been able to find and worked great in my hair. That was then... The problem is my most recent order of Original is totally different. It's yellow instead of white, the consistency is like soft butter instead of the much more firm consistency that it had always been previously. The hold is also very much lacking now. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed. I contacted Blumaan via their website and was told that they recently made a container change and the "product may act a little different". Not sure how a container change alone would change the product to this degree. I originally thought maybe they had messed up and put the "Original" label on some of their new "Smooth" product, but apparently not. See attached pictures for old vs. new. I could totally understand the difference if this were their new "smooth" product or something along those lines, but this is not that.. this should be the same ol "original" I've been buying since it was first introduced, but it isn't. Or at least, in my opinion, it isn't. See attached pictures. The difference is even more obvious in person. Hopefully they go back to the old stuff is all I can really say.

I LOVE this product! I was skeptical at first because I only heard of it from BLUMAAN's youtube channel when I needed tips on how to style my hair-but this is my everyday essential. Texture is really smooth at your finger tips and easy to work into your hair. I use both this and the orange pomade for an all day hold and it still allows flexibility to restyle your hair throughout the day. The scent isn't too strong but has a fresh smell. This product(blue) alone has a lighter hold but combined with the orange pomade--will last you all day moving around and sweating. They also recently updated their packaging, allowing for easier access and cleaner look.

I've been using this products for several years now. Hate to say it but they recently changed the formula and is not for the better. The new product is not as smooth and it is thicker which requires you to add water, especially if you don't have short hair. The consistency is grainy and it will give you a dandruff like appearance, therefore in order to minimize this you will have to run the product in between your palms to reduce the issue. I like the hold that it provides and it is one of the only reasons I'd purchase again, but using it takes longer for the above-mentioned reasons making it inconvenient if you're in a hurry. Bring back the old formula!!!

Absolutely love this hair care product. It holds in place, there's not a shine. It does take a little bit to get it to come off in the shower, but that also means it sticks well enough to hold all day.
