I purchased this heat lamp and it’s been a game changer for muscle tension and joint pain and also my ear infection. Gives pain releif. Is warm. But you should not be going close enough to the lamp to get warmed up as infra red can damage you if you use it too close to your skin. The lamp gets very hot. Use with care. The plastic casing is heatproof but do not leave unattended. It does not come with instructions so it is important that you look up some trustworthy advice as to how to use how long for and at what distance to sit away from it. The lamp is excellent value for money and can also be used to kill off colds and flu with regular use. It arrived quickly and has become a regular thing for me. It improves skin tone when used properly. It provides temporary releif and touch free pain releif for muscle pain. Very easy to use. Plug in and go.
